“5 Star facilities - 3 star service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

10 out of 10 for decor, finishings and character of the lodge. Being newly renovated it is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately the service does not match the expecations. Staff poorly trained and limited experience in restaurant / conference management. The chef had some wonderful moments, and then other times missed the boat a little. Not sure I would go back unless the service is drastically improved, which is a pity considering the luxurious finishings and decor. View is also to die for!

“San Karos - Poor food, terrible service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

We went here on a Sunday for coffee and cake. The restaurant looks very nice. We ordered coffee and the only type of cake they had. We had to wait for almost an hour for our coffee. When the waiter finally brought our coffee, the one cup was only a quarter full, because according to him the perculator was now empty. Our cake was so old, we couldn't get the spoon through it and had to stab it with a knife to brake pieces off. I don't know how their main meals are, but will never ever go there again for cake and coffee. Not worth the trip and money.

“Outdoor”

In the past it has been a disaster. Resently, with weddings and all, much better. Hope you can improve still.

“Great new Campsite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

The newly opened campsite and lodges are great. Located just 15km from the city center it is a great place to start or end a trip in Namibia.

“5 star all the way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

Best rooms I saw in a long time: luxury at it's best. Very good service, good food in the restaurant. Quiet atmosphere in nature. I hope the standard set will be kept for years to come.
