Claudia is such a wonderful hostess. GREat little hotel/guest house. nice rooms, clean, wonderful concierge service!!! she was so helpful with taxis/tours and the such. The pool is more like a small pond though..not enough space for 2 , lol
but again, the service is wonderful. walking distance to some stores and a 20 min walk to Joes Beerhouse..a must! . You will need a taxi to go downtown, about 5.00 single, 3 for a few people.

You MUST ASK FOR the taxi drive Laston. He is awesome and fair, speaks great english and honest!! I left my bags with him with no concerns. always ask about pricing though first, just so there is no questions or misunderstandings. His airport pick up is 300, so he is a bit high for that service ( 250 through Okahamura , which case picollo can arrange). I just like supporting honest entreprenuers

Rooms do have thin walls, bring earplugs for any noisy neighbors.

GReat place..great breakfast. Wish they did have a little bar area to hang out with other guests though.

Thank you Claudia!

We only stopped here for 1 night start of april 2012. Between picking up the car and setting out for our trip through Namibia.
We had a warm welcome clean and comfortable room.
Although we did not have much time here we did have time enough to enjoy the garden and little terras to have an aperitive before going for dinner.
We had to get up too early to be able to make it to breakfast but got a nice pack breakfast/lunch in stead.
We had a good nights rest here after the flight in from Belgium... keep up the good work.
Cheers
Axel

We stayed for one night in transition between the airport and heading out on our safari. The front desk was incredibly helpful in recommending restaurants and other places to accomplish tasks we needed before setting out in the morning. The shower was refreshing and had great water pressure and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was really good- they had a buffet of options and also provided cook to order foods.

Casa Piccolo is like a Treasure Island in Windhoek. It really is a nice place to stay at for a day or two. Their prettiest pearl, however, is sitting at the front desk. I have never ever experienced someone being so helpful in suggesting good restaurants, organizing excursions and giving me hands-on tips and insights about this fascinating country. Katharina, thanks so much for taking such good care of me and making this stay an unforgetable one.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Stayed for 2 nights at Casa Piccolo with my family (wife and 2 kids), and it was very good.
Immediately on our arrival we were happily greeted by the team. We chose the family room and was indeed the best choice. My kids had their private room and that gave us some extra sleep and time to enjoy our holidays. The room was spacious and comfortable. Outside you could barely hear a noise, so it was indeed a nice space to recharge our energy. There is also a secure parking space.
Good breakfast served, although the variety could be better, but still the breakfast was good.
My only complain was the fact that I could not have wireless access (which is free by the way...) in our room. But I was informed by the management on check-in, and outside the wi-fi was working perfectly.
Definitely a place I would not think twice to visit again! Thank you guys...

Stayed here during our last night in Windhoek. Rooms are spacious and clean. There is a nice garden in which you can relax and use the wifi facilities. Brekfast is good and also the owners are helping you find your way arund WIndhoek and bookoing restaurants and cabs.
