After reading so many great reviews on this site about this restaurant we were so looking forward to going. Cannot say how disappointed we were. After being told to sit in the middle of the restaurant since we hadn't reserved a table on a Sunday night, we were eventually ushered to one of the four tables that were free facing the sea (not one other person walked in throughout our evening meal). We tried to order a £20 bottle of wine but was told this was not available and got recommend a £60 bottle instead, and were left embarrassed when we turned this down (the manager and waiter seemed to find our predicament funny). We ordered Tiger prawns and a Mauritian curry - both which sounded amazing. The curry came out and was luke warm to say the least and the worst was the Tiger prawns. Looked great on the plate, but unfortunately the chef left the "vein" in the bottom of the prawn. Definately not something that you would expect from a restaurant that has been held in such regard. The food did definately take it away from the scenary of over looking the bay. After complaining we were offered free desserts, but after a main meal each and one beer each, the £65 bill seems completely over the top, for a restaurant that seems to be trying to bat way above its league
