“Boulder on the top”

Pieter Both is the second highest mountain in Mauritius. It stands 820 metres tall and is named after Pieter Both, the first Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies. The most notable feature of this mountain is the gigantic "boulder” situated at the top of it. It can be viewed whilst driving in the vicinity of the mountain from many sides. The accompanying picture was taken from outside a shopping park outside Port Louis.
