I've stayed here three nights during my current trip to Accra, and the main thing I want to point out is that I didn't have any restful sleep to speak of unfortunately. Each morning in early hours, some 4-5 hotel staff would congregate right in front of my and my neighbouring room and talk loudly, laugh, and have fun. I have no problem with them enjoying themselves--anything to make their no doubt hard work easier to handle makes sense--but I just didn't understand why that had to be right in front of hotel guests' rooms. On the third night I asked them in a friendly way whether they don't have staff rooms where they can hang out to talk, they said yes they do, and proceeded to promise not to do so in front of my room anymore. Well, the damage of reduced productivity for me was already done.
Warning for other guests: don't stay in the ground floor rooms that are further in the back, that seems to be where the "partying" seems to happen. Aim instead for one floor up if you have to stay here.
