The market is very nice, there are a lot of souvenirs - everything you might want to take home as a memory. Bargaining is hard, they will start ridiculously high and pretty much go down to what you are willing to pay. Bear in mind that if you think a wooden figurine is well worth $30 in the US, they will happily sell it to you for $5, but you have to bargain. It is good to go with a local and keep things in perspective.
