“Beach”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

Bojo beach is just and only that - a stretch of beach. Stretching endlessly along the Ghana coastline, with wonderfull white sand, a murky ocean littered here and there with bits of plastic bags, it has a beach bar, soft drinks, umbrellas and chairs for the visitors.
Situated at the western edge of Accra, it is about 15-25 min drive from the centre of the city, and accessible only by car.
An entrance fee of 10 GHC guarantees you won't be bothered by locals trying to sell or steal something.
The only offside is the rule stating "no food or drink allowed to be brought in", which limits you to either eating at the local beach bar or going home early.
All in all - for a quiet day of relaxation it fits the bill nicely, as long as your expectations are not too high.

“Relaxing and fun, close to Accra”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

This is a lovely beach spot with decent food and drinks options, a bar area for the more social and chairs for the more quiescent. Go for a fun beach afternoon with friends.

“Great to relax without being harrased!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

nice clean beach, even better that you are not constantly pestered to purchased goods. would not order any from here though and I think they would benefit from improving the bar. but generally a great day on the beach.

“not somewhere I'd go for a meal”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

The menu for this place is extensive but, upon ordering one discovers that most of it is not available!
When after many tries one find something that is actually able to be cooked, it gets prepared in the hotel which is on the other side of the lagoon and ferried over on a the same canoo guests are brought over to the beach on, needless to say the chips arrived soggy after being suffocated by Clingfilm on the 10 minute trip from the hotel to your table and the quality of food leave something, rather a lot in this case, to be desired.
The beach itself is clean and picturesque but eat somewhere else!

“Interesting little beach!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

Good place for day visit to escape the city. Interesting little boat trip across the lagoon to a lovely white sand-bank. Some shade, facilities and rustic bar with tasty fresh grills. Definitely worth a visit but choose your timing to avoid traffic delays - anything from half an hour travel time to one and half hours from city!!
