Bojo beach is just and only that - a stretch of beach. Stretching endlessly along the Ghana coastline, with wonderfull white sand, a murky ocean littered here and there with bits of plastic bags, it has a beach bar, soft drinks, umbrellas and chairs for the visitors.
Situated at the western edge of Accra, it is about 15-25 min drive from the centre of the city, and accessible only by car.
An entrance fee of 10 GHC guarantees you won't be bothered by locals trying to sell or steal something.
The only offside is the rule stating "no food or drink allowed to be brought in", which limits you to either eating at the local beach bar or going home early.
All in all - for a quiet day of relaxation it fits the bill nicely, as long as your expectations are not too high.
