We just got back from our trip to Ethiopia last week. I am so glad that we chose Bethel as our Guest House! We were there for 6 days and I can't say enough good things about it. The rooms and hospitality were excellent. While we were in Ethiopia my husband had the unfortunate experience of getting kidney stones! That is not something that you ever want to happen much less on a trip so far from home. Even though it was not the job of the staff they went above and beyond in helping us get to the hospital that's conveniently located only a couple of blocks away and making sure we were helped. Things like that make a huge difference and in our case we were under a time crunch as well.
The food was excellent as well!! What gifted cooks! :-)
Oh, and did I mention that some of the income that is generated from the guest house goes back to helping the community? One of the projects it helps support is the Onesimus Childrens Development Center. It aids in expanding their capacity to reach more street kids in Addis Ababa. You can't beat that!!
