I've stayed at Haimi hotel twice now, once for a 10-day stay when it was relatively new and deserted in August and then for a quick 2-day stopover in late October, when it was full. I really enjoyed my first stay here and was eager to stay again. For me, the main assets are the large and lovely rooms, the location, and the in-building gym, all at a reasonable price. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the front corner rooms have beautiful skyline views. The hotel is well located on a main route, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, and bars in walking distance, and taxis available at all hours. The rooms are high enough in the building that I didn't find them noisy at all. The staff is very helpful and well-intentioned, though they do make some mistakes. The gym, which is not just for hotel guests, is very nice, with cardio machines and weights and twice-a-week yoga classes as well. Wifi worked pretty well for me both times.
The hotel service includes lots of perks, some expected, others less so. Both breakfast and dinner are included in the price (breakfast is good, though dinner is a little greasy for my taste). You can also get room service take-away from the Greek restaurant or the pizza place downstairs. Free laundry, returned same day, was included during my first stay. I didn't stay long enough the second time to check if that was still the case. The hotel is close to the airport, and they do complimentary pick-up and drop-off. On my last stay, the driver was already busy with airport pick-ups, so the manager drove me back to the airport himself. I highly recommend this hotel and only wish it had branches in some of the other African countries I regularly travel to.
