They are located a bit at the far end of the city and it becomes difficult for u travel especially if you are new. Breakfast and lunch were nice with lots of varieties but they are not really different in tastes although the food tastes good. Service was good and the staff are nice and very friendly. The only thing that annoyed me in my entire stay was the security check at the entrance of the hotel. My 7 nights stay here has been a good one.

I'm staying here three nights on business, and couldn't be happier with the hotel. I like it better than the Addis Hilton. This boutique hotel is new, clean and the service has been wonderful. The hotel is about a mile or two from the airport--very convenient. The hotel shuttle was there to pick us up when we arrived at Bole, and our rooms were ready (always a plus!). The hotel is modern, nicely decorated and the free-wifi is consistent and fast (able to video Skype without a problem). The free breakfast is average, but I find that's typical of any hotel. The only thing I wish was that they served Ethiopian food in the restaurant...I want to eat Ethiopian food while in Ethiopia! I will be back!

We had a night in the Nexus Hotel, courtesy of Ethiopian Airlines, when a delayed inbound flight meant that we missed our flight to Gonder.

The hotel is pretty modern and pretty forgettable. Everything is fine - the lobby area is nice, the rooms are large enough and clean (but with maybe the smallest TVs in the world) and the food in the coffee-shop is bland but acceptable.

Service was a mixed bag - the waiter in the coffee-shop was very helpful, but we waited over 20 minutes for the bus transferring us to the airport to come around from the hotel carpark, despite asking a number of times where it was...

I don't know about value-for-money as I didn't pay for the night, but I'm sure it's reasonably priced and is more than good enough for a short stay.

After the government seized a pre-booked room in a different hotel due to an impromptu African Union meeting, Nexus came to the rescue. The general manager, Mr Samso, personally picked us up and made sure our stay went smoothly.

The rooms are clean, luxurious, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant chef personally greets their customers on occasion.

Perhaps the best attraction is that they're half a block from one of the most traditional and fun restaurants we experienced in Ethiopia, with live Toto music and delicious food.
