We came to Dina based on a recommendation. It was a mistake. The house is nice, with a round staircase and an impressive entrance. The location is good – just off Sierra+ Leon road, near the Greek embassy. However, the rooms were extremely small and gloomy. The beds - small and inconvenient, and the breakfast was poor. Dina was not around. The team did their best, but the very poor English was an obstacle, and they could not really help us. For all of that we paid $57 which was extremely overpriced. As I said – disappointment.

I stayed at Dina's when I first arrived in Ethiopia. Everything was excellent. First I was able to make all the arrangements over email which was key. Second, Dina met me at the airport even though my flight was 2 hours delayed and it took a really long time to go through customs, she was there waiting for me at 11:30pm! She also dropped me off at the airport 2 days later for my flight to Lalibela! The guesthouse is located off one of the main roads in Addis and there are restaurants, shops, etc a few mins walk away, and a nice greek restaurant next door. It is about a 30 min walk to Meskel square or you can catch one of the minibuses or a taxi on the main road a 1-2 min walk away. The rooms are clean with en-suite bathroom, TV and fridge and there is free wifi in the rooms! Breakfast is included in the morning and is quite good.
