The hotel is set outside the city close to the DRC border, over a nice stretch of beach with beautiful views of Tanganyika lake and the mountains around.

Unfortunately the room as built with poor quality materials, and are also not well maintained. The service is slow and not very professional. The hotel would be a good 2 star facility however. The swimming pool is nice.

The restaurant at the hotel is average.

I would however recommend this hotel, because of the views and because it is despite these shortcomings the best in the region... since there is almost nothing else !
