Great little place, centrally located in Bujumbura. Easily by-passed from the main road, just a red steel gate and a wall-painted "Botanika". But inside it's amazing. Just a couple of rooms, so reservations are adviseable. Very clean rooms, nice little garden and bar, very safe and excellent manager (speaks fluent English and French). Good restaurant. No spectacular view, no pool, but plenty of city spots are in walking distance. Reasonable rates. 70$ gets you a spacious self-contained room with a/c, room safe and tv. The bed got mosquito net. Forget Novotel around the corner.
