We stayed at this hotel during four nights over a period of two weeks. We used the hotel as our Ouaga base for trips to both the south and the north of the country. We stayed this in various rooms and you should note that rooms 1-5 are below par and should be avoided. They tend to get hot and are not very comfortable. Room 5 is too small and should be avoided altogether. Go for a room higher then 5 and you should be fine. Room 8 was excellent as was room 12. The hotel has a pretty good internet connection and at least three different wifi networks which help you to connect to the world. The only let down during our stay was the frequent loss of 'city power' and the switch to the generator. The staff are friendly and always willing to assist. The food served is of excellent quality, including the salads! Note that the menu is rather limited and that the options near the hotel to eat out are also limited. Beside a snack there is no food served in the evening until after 19:00. There are a selection of Western oriented restaurants a 5-10 minute taxi ride away however. Breakfast is good and the selection fine. The best thing about the hotel is the outside 'lobby' and restaurant ares which gives the place a quaint and rural feel. It is nice to sit outside in the middle of busy Ouaga and enjoy this. Highly recommended.
