I have eaten at Lookal Mar a couple of times and had am especially delighted about the food quality and the freshness of the seafood.
You start your meal with a small plate of a perfectly sliced Señorio de Olivenza or 5J ibérico jamon accompanied with fresh small butter toasts while you place your order and that alone is allready an absolute delightness. A fresh Cuca beer from the own "biergarten" delivers the rest.
There is a wide selection of all sorts of seafood, ranging from the Algarve Coast shrimps, over goose barnacles (percebes), over to the mouth-watering "ameijoas à bolhão pato" to the famous lobsters. Everything is absolutely fresh and gets delivered once a day from the shores of Portugal, is flied and then transported alive to the fish tanks in the restaurante where all the seafood is literally fished just before serving - to my eyes, this distinctive freshness makes this place so unique for Luanda.
To end your meal i do recommend a "prego no pão" which consists of a slice of beef fried in garlic and placed in a piece of fresh bread, typical to all portuguese style "cervejarias".
I have never tried their sweets, so can't comment on that, but in total there's absolutely nothing to complain off !
