“Luanda's equivalent of a 'Greasy Spoon' but reasonable value in inflated-price city”
Tendinha is located on Luanda's main drag near 3 large hotels: Tropico, Skyna and the newly-opening Epic Sana. Food is served in good portions and is healthy enough. Draught beer is palatable, service is surly and under-welcoming but reasonably efficient. Toilets could do with proper and regular cleaning but the building is a bit neglected. Owing to the heavy use of olive/veggy oil there's a greasy atmosphere reminiscent of 1960s UK transport cafes. Many ex-pats, mostly manual workers from the oil industry, like to come here after work. It's a convenient meeting point.
