The Mopani Worm is a MUST-try!
It is very yummy & you get a certificate from eating it.

The grilled war-thog steak is excellent. The BBQ Pork is juicy & yummy. Oh & don't forget the soup (nutmeg soup), in the traditional hot pot.

I tried the crocodile tail starter. Yummy too.

Entertainment: Traditional African dance & drum performances was excellent too.

Ambience of the entire restaurant & the friendly staff makes you feel cosy & home.

“A Night of Fun and Great Food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2014

The Boma serves the best sirloin steak I had in the whole trip! Most of the others were too well cooked for my liking but here, we could ask for them to cook it medium rare and the sweetness and freshness of the steak was really memorable!

The entertainment was also splendid, the host being able to bring out the best in the guests' participation. The drumming session and the dancing challenge provided great fun for all the guests!

Do not forget to wolf down their signature worm and be awarded a certificate of achievement for swallowing it!

“Great African experience”

From the minute you enter the grounds you are immersed in culture. The food is local , the dancers enthusiastic, and the grounds for the hut are authentic.

“True African Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2014 via mobile

Had an amazing meal at the Boma and had the opportunity to taste a variety of African cuisine including buffalo, warthog and eland, not to mention moraine worms if you dare! My evening was made by the African singing and the chance to join in a drumming session, which was brilliant! I would highly recommend coming here for a taste of some true African hospitality and some truely unique dishes.
