We stayed at the Kingdom Hotel for 3 nights in June 2014. The hotel looks like something from Indiana Jones! The room was big and quite comfy apart from no heating (it was winter time) and had to ask for an extra blanket. The bathroom had a bathtub with shower over it and a plastic show curtain which I didn't like. The lighting was dull (as is with a lot of hotels) and I ended up removing the lightshades in the bathroom to get a bit more light. Our room was right next to the dining room so was a bit noisy and also on the ground floor so had noise from upstairs as well(chairs being dragged across the floor). Breakfast was included with the room - this was very nice and a good selection. For lunches and dinners we went to a restaurant near the casino (which is part of the hotel complex) - much cheaper than the hotel meals. There are a couple of souvenir shops, a chemist and bars there too. Quite expensive in Victoria Falls as they use $US. The location is good and within walking distance to the Zambezi River Bridge (about 25mins) and Victoria Falls township(10mins). Very nice grounds, pool and outdoor bar and sitting areas.
