Although the hotel location is close to a number of pizza restaurants, you have to go a bit further for better cuisine.... and it's about a 45 minute walk to the center of town. Taxis are readily available, so the location of this widely advertised local Tozeur property is reasonable.
The facilities look far better than most of the reviews published indicate; it's actually quite a classy looking place if you're used to budget hotels. Major drawbacks for many are likely the lack of hot water, and don't expect to find a decent English speaking TV channel (but that's often the case throughout Tunisia).
The hotel does has Wi-Fi; however, it's among the worst signals I experienced during my two week visit in the country. Inaccessible from the room, it also didn't work throughout much of the lobby area... I finally found one small area of the lobby that gave occasional connection.
The buffet breakfast is actually pretty decent for Tunisian fare.
This hotel serves adequately for basic sleeping purposes. Just don't rely on the facility for much else and get out to the Tozeur medina or other local places for sight-seeing, dining, and entertainment during the day.
