They are under construction but they forgot to take care of people who are after drinks ONLY. The atmosphere is ok just that you feel unwanted if you came for the drinks. And who in the world charges for bar crisps, nuts etc .... you can do better. The former Karambezi was excellent. I still believe in you

This is our favourite restaurant in Dar es Salaam. Situated at the edge of a cliff. directly above the Indian ocean there cannot be a better setting anywhere in the world. - The service is also the best on offer in Dar es Salaam. - There is also, consistency in food and service quality.
My FAVOURITE dish is the sweet chilli chicken salad. This is an affordable, DELICIOUS and healthy dish...
Breakfast here is expensive but also of a very high quality

A great setting overlooking the Indian Ocean. If you get it right on a night that the full moon rises over the water - WOW!
This is not my first visit to Karambezi and It is the consistency of good food, excellent service and a wonderful view of the ocean that brings me back. Sunday brunch is a specialty for Karambezi and their buffet, while not out-of-the-ordinary, is solid fare. Fresh juices and breads certainly help the regular fruit and cheese plates.
The one selling feature for me is the staff. They are attentive without being overbearing and, even when the brunch time is over and they are trying to set up for the afternoon crowd, they let you sit, visit, enjoy the view and finish your coffee unhurriedly.
BTW, the evening menu is good too.
