Nothing i can say here will make you understand the absolute peace, tranquility and pure at home feeling i get when i am here. So let me start by saying this. I am sitting here writing this review. Awesome music, currently, The Doors, i am enjoying my cup of coffee sitting at the boat converted into a table. I have been coming here for just over a month, and already the staff know me by first name. Just the way i like it. So, my abvice to you, get here, get here fast! Dont put it off, find your favorite table overlooking the ocean. Miriam, the hostess, and by far my favorite, Shadrack, one of the waiters will make your day. They open at 11:00 am so try not to rush, but if you are a little early, and friendly, they may just let you in to sit and wait for them to officially open. My favorite time is just after work between 18:00 and 19:00, my table is booked everyday. My visits have been friends, famiy, couples business, solo. Hope you enjoy. Gods love to you all. Mark. This restaraunt has amazing food. They are some of the quicker service I had while in Dar. I tried a couple different plates but went back to have the fillets a couple times. If you're looking for a place to eat in the Slipway area this is the place to go.

location is truly stunning, with nice view on the bay calm water, the food is OK, but not more than that, some dishes do not justify the seat in the restaurant.
service of some of the staff is nice, but most of them are not so polite and acting smarter than they really are.
there is some place for improvements, i think the owners are abusing the fact they are situated in strategic location and not putting much efforts in the kitchen or the service, it won't take long before people will cease coming.

I have eaten many times at the Waterfront. The service can be a bit hit and miss, and you will sometimes find someof the party's meals served a long way ahead of the others (even in small groups). The food is always good, and the sunsets are beautiful. If you want a good table (i.e. next to the water) you need to get there early on busy nights.
