This restaurant is very spacious, and are well equipped to deal with large groups, without lowering their service standards. I've been here a few times and have never had a bad meal. It's good value for money, as most of Tanzania is. Wouldn't be devastated if I never ever went again but worth a visit if you can.

The restaurant has been taken over by a new owner recently and has been fully re decorated. Good menu and large seating area that can be divided for a private event with another party hall at the back.

Good for groups who enjoys a good social as the atmosphere is mild and the service is unhurried. Plenty traditional Indian choices and good variety for vegetarians. Bit of repetition with paneer and chickpeas. Slightly pricy but authentic flavors and tastes. Go early evening for snappy service.

The food itself was great, but took well over an hour and a half to be served. The atmosphere in the restaurant isn't all that welcoming either. For a little more money, head out to the penninsula for faster service and a great dining experience.
Not only do you have to wait long enough for your hunger to die on you but you have to pay through your nose for terrible food at this restraunt. The service is poor, slow and sloppy. It is better to walk over to Khana Khazana which is just stone throw away from here and enjoy a good quality meal with hospitable staff.
