“slow service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

Great food though service is incredibly slow and there have been several occasions where I waited for the bill for more than 20 mins. Nice food though!

“Great food and good place to do some work”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

Popular place with expats for a reason, great coffee and baked goods. The sandwiches are good as is the Lebanese food. The staff are nice, but it appears that the owner/manager does not treat them well. All in all a great place to do some work or have a meeting and a good coffee/lunch.

“the children's play area was the saving grace”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Maybe I need to give this place another shot and find something on the menu that is good. I had the falafel wrap and a salad - both of which were not very good. The coffee and service was excellent though! And they do have a swing-set and a slide (that gets pretty hot in the afternoon, so go early!).

I also found it depressing that the only non-white people in the place were the staff and the nanny's watching the children while parents enjoyed their lunch. No fault of the restaurant, just an observation.

“Great relaxed hangout, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

relaxed hangout in Dar, very popular with expats. Great place to catch up with friends, good wifi and patient, friendly staff - so you can hang out, do some work on your laptop with great food. Must try the Harissa(hot sauce!) and vitamin juice.
Maragarita's only average but this doesn't detract. Will be back

“Excellent Lebanese food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

The menu is great for doing combinations of your favourite flavours. This is authentic Lebanese fare in a setting that caters for both casual and more formal dining. There is also a take-away/deli devision, with the best breads in town. Prices are not bad. Flavours are excellent. It can get quite busy, so especially on weekends, bookings would be recommended
