Not a bad spot for a good meal, albeit very dated and hardly a 'classy' feel. Food waqs pretty good - but at USD 60 odd for a pretty basic meal and the cheapest wine, it was an expensive meal for 2 givebn some of the alternatives.
The food is great so tastfull, the waiters doing there best to serv you. the only thing you have to wacht if you eat upstairs watch you head for the beam it's a bit low. for the rest It's one of my favourite places in town.
Dinner for two, no alcohol - $60. If you are accustomed to very good Indian food, this will be average. Not bad, but nothing to remember. Surrounding are OK -- at night in the dark you will not benefit from the Seacliff's surroundings; inside of the restaurant is rather sterile.

Crispy Corn, should be "must" for anyone visiting there - as a starter. The helpings are decent, timely service. Though a bit congested and poor on privacy but good enough for re-visit. Have gone there 4-5 times.
I love that this restaurant is within the best hotel in Dar. Good Indian meal served in a nice setting, makes a change from the normal Dhaba style food available everywhere. The food is rich so I wouldn't recommend making this your regular Indian fix as there are plenty of places you can pick up a good Indian meal at half the price. Another point to remember is to book as this place gets busy at weekends especially. I would put it on an equal footing to Nawabi Khana nearby.
