“A stroll in the park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

I went thorugh Arusha national park before climbing up Mount Meru. It was really a great experience walking so close with the animals. I thought the experience was better than the Serengeti safari and would like to do a longer walking safari there.

“Safari to Ngorongoro”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Our Safari to Ngorongoro from Nairobi was more than holiday even though was three days, but we real enjoyed, sleeping in the tent was my fest time to experience the biggest of the Crater but more than everything was watching two Rhinos passing just ten miters from our car. we real appreciate the service from Afro wilderness more thanks to drive and cooker for their cooperation.

“"Great trip"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

My Husband and I booked our Holiday trip 4 years ago with Lazarus of Hartebeest Safaris. Then one month before we had to postphone our trip due to my health problem after the advice from my doctor who insisted not to travel. We informed Lazarus about our stuation and he told us that the deposite we paid will be used at any date, month or year we thought is ok for us to travel.

Last year December 2012 we contacted this gentleman and asked him to re-book our trip on 15th February 2013 using the same amount we had paid before that is 2,500$.Mr Lazarus "the great man" accepted and arranged the same trips we booked at the same amount. We had a great 18 Days adventures 4 Days Meru trek for our acclimatization,7 Days Kilimanjaro up machame and ended up with our 6 Days by jeep.

Our Cook Sede and all the Porters on our trip were very eager to make us comfortable, under such difficult conditions. Our Guide Ellias was always cheerful and energetic and made summiting possible for us.

While on our jeep trip,we visited Tarangre,Manyara, serengeti and the crater. All parks were very nice but we enjoyed much in the Serengeti where we had long days.We saw all the animals we wanted and many more.Omare is an excellent and skilled driver/Guide having an eagle eyes. The facilities in Camping were nice compairing to other companies where their mattresses were wet and they borrowed our driver's tent.

Thank you for the great trek and the safari. Thanks to Lazarus too for his great coordination, helpful man ever seen.We recommend Hartebeest Safaris for their excellent Organization and reasonable offers compairing to other operators contacted them before

Thanks.

Kathleen

“Average attraction”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

I went to this National Park Located near USA River in Easter 2013. The roads to the Gate were good and we were welcomed by the staff who were very polite, and it was very cheap to get in there may be because we were all citizens. Inside we had to drive on our own but there was directions everywhere. We managed to see a few animals like zebra, Giraffe, deers, Buffallo, ostrich and a few birds. The driving distance inside was around 40 kms of gravel Road but easily passable. We were a bit dissapointed that we couldnt see a lot of animals compared to other national parks like Manyara or Tarangire, but it was OK for a day trip.

“Diverse wildlife habitats all in one day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

We had a spare day to spend sightseeing so booked a day's safari around the Arusha National Park through our hotel in Moshi. The great thing about this park is the sheer diversity of wildlife in such a small area - from the forested slopes of Ngurdoto Crater with monkeys and forest birds to plains with buffalo and zebra and lakes with flamingo and water birds. It may not have the big game of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater national parks but the sheer range of wildlife makes the Arusha National Park well wort a visit.
