“Very tender tasty meat, nice setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

I went through a few reviews. Our experience was positive. Nice setting, service was friendly, no smokers and our food was good. I had a skewer and the meat was very tender and very tasty.

“Traditional restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Beautiful place with great food. Because it's located in the Medina and less easy to find a guide with a lantern will bring you there.

Plush banquette to sit on, delicious tajines, pleasant combo playing traditional music, an astounding modern rose red unisex bathroom!

“tourist trap”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

The entrance to the restaurant was like a fairy tale: an old man with a lamp guided us through the alleys of the old medina to Dinarjat. The restaurant is wonderful decorated. There was ancient live music.
We were helped by a kind waiter with holes and stains on his suit and a grim looking waitress who was more interested in her iphone than us. We found the food related to the price below average. So far, so good.
On our bill the price was raised by 10% VAT. We travelled during almost 4 weeks through Morocco and never had this happened as consumer prices should always be including VAT.
Avoid this place.

“Not what is touted to be”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013 via mobile

I found the food at this much anticipated restaurant to be very avaerage and the service was very casual. Once my order was placed I was completely ignored. I had to find someone to pay the bill.
The lamb was tasty but nothing special and the local bread served with it was deidedly stale.
The live music was great and the dining room is beautiful, even though the place is filled with tourists, some from bus tours.
