“Gem of a restaurant, excellent view, food and service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

In an especially nice and upcoming part of Salé (read: secure) you will find an exceptional restaurant. The prices reflect the surroundings, but the security, cleanliness and service more than make up for it.
I always recommend ordering the fresh fish here - we ordered the Pajot (red snapper) but have also had good luck with the Turbot.
Unique view of La Tour Hassan and the Tombs across the river - especially good at night, show up for sunset - extremely romantic.
Bathrooms are clean and well maintained, service was what you'd expect from a higher end restaurant in Morocco.
Lots of parking out front of the restaurant is a welcome change to struggling with Rabat traffic. Getting there can be tricky if coming from Rabat - definitely get directions first as there's some finesse to finding your way once you cross the Pont Hassan II.

“First night in Morocco”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

We were in Morocco for a conference. The concierge recommended Al Marsa for dinner. About 12 of us went with a 7:30 reservation. Other than our party, there was no one else dining (a few people came in before we left at 10:30). The waitstaff was very helpful. When they couldn't understand our English, they would get someone to come interpret. The bread was very good. Lots of different kinds. The baskets were replenished all night. Al Marsa is a very good Italian restaurant even though that's not what you would expect to find in Morocco. Everyone was pleased with the dinner selections--veal, beef, fish and pasta. We also ordered several pitchers of Sangria which was full of fruit and delicious. Our visit was a wonderful way to begin our trip to Morocco.

“Nice view, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

I had a quick business lunch. The main speciality is clearly everything to do with fish, BUT they also have some beef, chicken etc on the second part of the menu.
Service is a little chaotic, but all in all nice and fast enough.
A little challenge to find the spot by car (new constructions, new bridge, etc) but once you find it you have a good probability to park right in front of the restaurant.

“Get the tuna”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

Order the tuna and thank me later. The tuna is "like butter". Amazing texture and flavor. I was told that its normally better. On a scale of 1-10 the day I had it someone else described it as a 7 or 8 compared to how good it normally is. And so I will be going back soon!

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

I have been several times in this restaurant and i recommend it. The spanish dishes are very good and the quality of the fish and sea-food is really good. The paellas needs improvement. Nice terrasse in the Rabat marina.
