“Stunning view and beautiful decor right in the middle of the Medina”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

After going through a maze of small street you enter this beautiful traditional Moroccan house with a very elaborate decor. The view from the terrace over the casbah des oudayas and the medina is magnificent. Dinner was fine, with huge servings of pastilla (chicken) and veal tagine, the Moroccan pasties, and plenty of tea and wine around traditional low tables, music, etc. it's definitely worth going for the view and the atmosphere, rather than for the food. We were with a very large group so maybe that explains why the food was not that great(?)

A traditional moroccan restaurant situated in the Souwayka souk... The restaurant is an old house renovated according to the moroccan architecture...

Beautiful and cosy... excellent service and atmosphere with traditional arabic music...
It reflects morocco history....

“Amazing decoration and food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

The food is very tasty and great traditional place. The meat is well cooked , the quantities are also very generous. It's a little expensive but worth it

“Dissapointment for such a place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

Despite the fact that the place is fantastic in terms of traditionnal atmosphere and the food is excellent, my experience was dissapointing for two reasons:
- the extremely long waiting time (and they were only 4 tables occupied in the restaurant). One hour between the arrival and the first plate ... makes you a bit nervous
- the quantity of food was so big that after the first plate, and despite the excellent quality, you cannot enjoy. It is a fixed menu and after the appetizer, the tajine ... when you see the huge couscous arriving ... that is just a pity. A menu is good for 3 good eaters ...

“The atmosphere and food with a national color”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Restaurant is located in the heart of the old Medina. It should be a visit to a better understanding of Moroccan way of life and traditions. Excellent restaurant, good food and pleasant service. Restaurant is located in an interesting building, its interior decorated with Moroccan ornaments, service staff dressed in national clothes. We saw the concert and show, which was really impressive. I recommend a visit if you are looking for the national colors.
