“Lovely Riad and lovely staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2013

I stayed at this Riad for seven nights with my husband and two teenage children. We requested connecting rooms and were given a wonderful space – three rooms off a central corridor separated by curtains, a bathroom and a private terrace. There were two double beds and one single. The single was too short for my daughter so she repaired to the sofas in the communal seating area and set up bed there.
The apartment was perfect for our needs. We each had privacy but were together and there was plenty of space to be together or alone. We had a few issues with the lighting – too few lamps – but these were resolved swiftly by the night manager. The rooms were clean and well-kept no creepy crawlies but two adorable kittens who kept us entertained. Wi-Fi was difficult – although the Riad has it was only accessible in the communal areas. This gave us the opportunity to pet the very friendly kittens though whilst checking emails!
Florence – who met us from our car and was at the Riad in the daytime – was lovely. Friendly, helpful, with a gentle sense of humour. She gave us lots of advice and help and kindly accepted a mix of currency and credit card for the final payment at the end of the stay. As we were leaving she collared me to give me cash back as she found that the evening manager had unwittingly overcharged me.
We had breakfast at the Riad twice and at four euros each it was good value. All in all the Riad was excellent value. We could walk to the main square in 10 minutes and explore the new town just as quickly. An excellent place I would highly recommend.
We took a tour to the Atlas Mountains and the edge of the Sahara – riding camels and staying a night in Berber tents. This was all arranged via the Riad by a chap called Hicham. I found prices to be the same as those I had seen online in the UK and we enjoyed a private car and our own driver who was happy to stop wherever we wanted and kindly took us around a Berber market we would never have seen otherwise.

Room Tip: If a family go for 9b - this was excellent for our familty. Spacious with private terrace.

We arrived in a taxi preordered by the hotel , nice and warm welcome by Florence , peppermint tea and cakes and an introduction to Marrakech ! Rooms nice , clean and comfy beds ! We booked a trip to the Atlas Mountains and all was arranged by the hotel , excellent guide , amazing food , money well spent ! Only disappointment for us was that we couldn't pay for our stay with credit card as there was no connection working ie we ended up paying cash and with a rubbish exchange rate !

When my friends and I were planning a trip to marrakech, because we are all women, not so young, we had to find a good location and not expensive and could accomodate our group of 11 persons. Luckily we found this Riad, which are nicely located, near to touristic places. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and the young man working there, Hamzah, was very kind and helpful.

The breakfast was very good, and we had dinner there for birthday party of our friends. Although the food of dinner was not very special, but thanks to Hamzah who managed to find an excellent birthday cake, our party became great. The rooms quite spacious, but a little bit dim, choice of colors a bit dark and no television except at salon, WIFI was not working except near reception. If you open the window, you could hear the noises from the street.

But overall we were satisfied and I would stay there again

beautiful riad in good central location. Very nicely decorated and very clean. Short walk from the main square Jemaa Al Fna. Met on arrival by Hamza who was charming and very helpful a real asset to the riad. I have to agree about evening meal - it was ok but not great but we all enjoyed the breakfast - freshly made cake, yoghurt and pancakes from the ladies in the kitchen,
I would definitely stay there again.

The Riad is amazing, it is very well decorated and in a good location, a short walk from both the jemaa al fna and the Kasbah. We had a suite for 5 people, it was huge and had great facilities. The breakfast (included) was very good, we had the evening meal on arrival but felt this was very average and not worth the price. The evening receptionist Hamza was brilliant, spoke good english and was very helpful in all things, even taking us personaly to a restaurant/bar the first night because it was dark and hard to find. He sorted us out a great day in the atlas mountains too. The french lady owners are not very friendly though, and at times not at all interested in what you were asking, maybe a party of five women was not what they wanted there?, which came apparent when we were refused a drink on the terrace one afternoon!

Room Tip: keep windows closed to avoid noise from the street and calls for prayer.

This Riad is very pretty, and the area is very good- close enough (10 minutes walk) to El Fna, and still in a quiet area. Hamza, the boy working there, made all the difference, speaking english and being VERY polite, helping us every day to the maximum.

But... there were some bad points to this Riad- first of all, noise in the morning from the street and from the pool. Second, breakfast was not included and frankly not so impressing- we could not even order eggs or cheese, if you don't eat jam or honey, there are not so many alternatives. Last but not least, we were used to a much more friendly approach in the other Riads we stayed in. The ladies infront were not impolite, just... indifferent. Average impression overall

Room Tip: Avoid ground floor, too much noise

We spent over 5 nights in this outstandig Riad. It is located in the Marrakechs' Kasbah close to the common square Jemaa Al Fna.
Hamza - member of the staff - is a very kind and friendly guy with the costumers - he knows how to do his job! He gave us lots of tips to see the city in an autentical point of view! Also the typical marrocan food from the restaurant of the Riad is really good! You've to try!
