Enjoying a prime position on the corner of rue des Banques directly overlooking the square, the owners must think that its position justifies the overcrowded table layout, with pricing to match. We waited in the foyer for 15 minutes till a table became vacant. Our waiter was friendly whilst he took our order, then disappeared into a black hole for the next 30 minutes. Granted the restaurant was full, but a friendly, it won't be too long till you get your food, would have gone a long way to appeasing the wait. The food when it came was good. Lamb and Prune tagine with loads of Semole as they call plain couscous and all piping hot. Really loud music accompanied the belly dancers, who performed in between the crowded tables, encouraging diners to join them in their dance routine. Have no doubt that the cost for this performance was built into all meals as with 1 course and a beer and a coke it was well over £20 per person. Not terribly good value for money and obviously trading on their prominent location. Yet again, there is a plethora of far better restaurants for similar cost or slightly more, for the visiting tourist to have to accept this level of price and service. Would not recommend.
