An impressive and well run place in the Marrakech medina; high walls and period furniture, patio and pool, huge lamps from the high ceilings, fireplaces, staircases to the rooftop terraces..., and all this perfectly candle-lit, ensuring - together with the discrete local musicians - an intimate as well as traditional atmosphere. The "all-inclusive" dinner/evening starts with drinks on the rooftop. You then walk down to your table, in one of the many adjoining dining rooms, for a copious dinner: a Moroccan salad mix to start, then two separate main courses and, to finish, a traditional Moroccan desert. Everything is delicious, especially the main courses: lemon chicken tajine and some of the best lamb you will have tasted anywhere! Wine is very good and flows freely. It is definitely something to do as a group, e.g. on a special occasion (though you have to book well in advance). Service is very good.
