“Quiet, Stylish, Charming and great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2011

A charming Hotel with a nice mix of Art Decco and old Morroccan style.
All the rooms have a different interiours. The beds are super comfortable and the hotel is very clean overall. The rooftop is excellent for breakfast in the mornings and for having drinks in the evening. Free WIFI is a plus if you want to keep connected.

The location is really good with just a few minutes to the main square of Djemaa El-Fna
and the main streets with restaurants, cafés and shops. Still the location is very quiet.

Amine is very welcoming, trustworthy and helpful in every way.

Truly a good place to stay in Marrakech.

Second visit to Marrakech and have stayed in a few different riads before.

Making a booking to stay in Hotel du Tresor was easy and hassle-free. I arranged for an airport pick up which was reasonably priced, considering that I didn't know where the riad was - it made it so much easier. Amine and Mustafa made my stay here very pleasant and they made sure that I had everything I needed and was comfortable.

The location of the riad is amazing, you are minutes away from Jemaa el Fna, where the true Marrakech is. Although it is in such a central location, the riad is so quiet and relaxing, a good break from the chaotic charm of Marrakech.

The riad oozes traditional Moroccan elements, where the rooms and communal areas are beautifully presented, fused with Modernist furniture pieces. The gorgeous orange tree and plunge pool in the courtyard - definitely something I would dream to have in my own home! The highlight has to be breakfast on the roof terrace, in the warm sunshine with a great spread - freshly squeezed orange juice and home made Moroccan pancakes and a different cake everyday.

I would definitely recommend this riad to anyone, however, just a tip - I would prefer the rooms on the first floor - as there is more sunlight and less noise compared to the rooms on the ground floor.

We really liked this hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the roof terrace is a wonderful place to have breakfast. The staff was very helpful in answering all our questions and making sure we enjoyed our stay. And for those who need to bring along your computer - the wi-fi works really well!

Hotel du Tresor is a fantastic riad to stay in in Marrakech. The location is great, the roof terrace a heavily place to retire to after a hard day exploring, and the plunge pool an ideal way to refresh. The rooms themselves are all different, very unique & quirky. Bathrooms are basic, art work fantastic. Very bohemian! warning that the single rooms mostly do not have air con, so pay more if going during summer for a bigger rooms. But overall highly recommend - I will be back!!

Very nice riad in Marrakech, near to Jamaa el Fna place, souks and shops. The staff is very sweet, the terrasse at the top of the riad has a very nice view, good service. It was a pleisure to stay there for my holidays. Wants to come back again next time.

what they say about location is true...just a few steps from Jema el Fnaa....took at least 2 e-mails to get a reply and once there we didn't even get the room we had booked for...room was very clean but also the smallest we had stayed in during our Morocco trip...we got a good rate but wouldn't call it value since we had stayed in other riads with similar rates with bigger rooms and better service...lots of stuff floating in the plunge pool so we didn't even bother to use it...asked if they could take care of some clothes I needed to be washed but instead was told where the laundry was...not really an issue since there was one just a block away but still you would've expected them to provide this kind of service...it definitely is more focused on design than hospitality...would I stay here again? maybe...but I'm sure I could find something better at the same rate next time..

Hotel du Tresor is a superb place to spend your holiday in Marrakech. All the rooms are little gems and are well fitted for a family with teenagers. We stayed four nights in Marrakech and every time we came back to the hotel, we found it nice, quiet and a good place to recover from the crowded medina and the souq. The children loved the swimming pool, which is a very nice-to-have at 40+ degrees. Breakfast at the roof top was well endowed, with fresh orange juice and fresh-made Moroccan pancakes, cake and bread etc. We would recommend everybody who loves a Moroccan experience to book this hotel.
