We stayed here for one night during a trip to Marrakech with our 3 year old son.

We fell in love with Marrakech (our first visit) and this little Riad was the perfect antidote to the heat and bustle of a day spent in the Medina.

We spent the first four nights of our trip at a big AI hotel outside the Medina and this was the right thing to do for us, with a young child. But we wanted a taste of the Riad experience and weren't disappointed.

We stayed in the striped room which was small and for some may be claustrophobic but it was still charming. We loved the design and the open bathroom. Our son, who is nearly 4, was given a cot to sleep in which wasn't ideal as he has been in a bed for nearly 3 years but luckily he saw it as a novelty and was happy to sleep in it.

The owners, Stephanie and Tony, are lovely and so helpful. They don't speak much English but we were able to communicate fine and hospitality has no language barriers.

The place has the feel of a family home, our room was off the main courtyard on the ground floor and the common areas felt like an extension of our accommodation. The rooftop terrace was lovely and although the views weren't great we loved relaxing in the little plunge pool before dinner.

We booked half board and were served a basic but tasty dinner of breads and dips, tagine and oranges with cinnamon. All washed down with mint tea, which was also offered on check in.

We had a great nights' sleep with no noise from other guests despite our room being adjacent to the main courtyard and reception.

Breakfast was laid on for us despite our early departure (730am) and consisted of pancakes and some lovely cake.

Location was great, just a few mins walk to the square and easy to find once you've been shown the way once (we used a guide who we met when we got off the bus).

Riad Villa Wenge is great value and we would definitely return here if we wanted another Riad stay.

First of all it's hard to find this Riad even with the map until somebody from hotel will show you this place. We call ro Riad and they send us the man after we were asked them to pay. The Riad is modern, but when we came it smelt some poison against bugs and we need to live in that room. At the morning near the room we saw big bug! We appreciate the girl on reception and fast free internet but we didn't like designs of the bathroom ( it painted in black color and haven't door only curtain). I suggest to choose Riad in more more plan style,

We stayed here for 1 night and were and were certainly taken by the charm of the Villa Vengé. We called ahead and were met in the main square by a member of staff and walked back to the hotel. Just off the busy streets and very close to everything you would want, it is a place of calm and tranquility.

The staff are so nice and the owner Stephané was so lovely. She gave us her phone number if we got into any difficulty in the markets and made us feel so welcome and gave us advice on restaurants, shops etc.

The rooms were of a high standard, having never stayed in a riad I was not sure what to expect. A large air conditioned room split into 3, sleeping/living area, shower and toilet with a very high ceiling. On the roof is a nice roof terrace with a jacuzzi and a selecting of magazines. There is only 6 rooms here.

Breakfast was a selection of fresh juice, coffee and warm breads and preserves. Simple but all that is needed.

We organised a taxi to the airport through Stephanié for around £10 and we were walked to the car, an air conditioned new 4x4 and left Marrakech in style.

Myself and my partner are already planning on returning for longer stay later this year.

The riad is wonderful , I would return there every single time in Marrakesh , great location , and the best service ever.
Breakfast served in the first floor at the center of the riad , very pleasant and tasty. the service again was awesome , they can help you out with reservation to restaurants and all other needs that you may have. they make you fell at home
we traveled with the family kids and babies included , so we rented the entire riad, if possible that would be the best option as you will fell as having your own house at Marrakesh.
I do recommend it 100 %.
