“A restful place in the bustling Marrakech medina”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I stayed one week with my daughter. Five nights in adjacent Riad Dar Gama's Egypt room. For the last two nights we could choose to change and ended up in the spacious Chocolate room within Riad Saba proper. Both riads are run by the same staff. The rooms are all splendid. Service is impeccable. We had good advice on excursions and activities. Also guiding was offered. Smells are important in this city and inside the riad it adds to the sensation of rest. Thank you Jabrane, Maria and Jamal for all your efforts!

Went here with my girlfriend and we could not have had a better stay. First of all, when arriving, this big gate is amazing. Maria, Jabrane and all the staff took so good care of us, we really felt that they wanted us to have the perfect stay in Marrakech and at Riad Saba. The atmosphere is so cool and each room has its own style. We had a great breakfast every morning and got as much options as we wanted on what to do. Maria settled a great tour to the Atlas for us with a friendly guide and also arranged the best hammam experience I've ever had. Do not miss to stay here when in Marrakech!

Can't recommend this Riad enough, from the moment we arrived the staff were very warm and welcoming. They would help with anything you needed, and gave great advice on things to see and places to eat.
The location is perfect a short walk from the square but close enough to walk to where you want to in the Medina.
The rooms were beautifully presented and the everything was clean. The breakfast was amazing and always layed out so nice.
Great value for money and the personal touch was there.
Can't wait to visit again

As allot of the riad's in Marrakech you find the old wooden door, and the first impression is "what is this" - I took just a second after the door was open to got a warm welcome by the staff and the owners.
The Riad have just a few room and you get treated like a VIP by the owner and the staff. The location is good, a small square is located just outside the Riad and even if it is narrow streets, the taxis can manage to take you to the door.
The breakfast is local style, well prepared by the staff, I can image to sit on the terrace to have the breakfast - during our stay (January) it is to cold in the mornings, but we spend lovely afternoons at the roof terrace.
Our room was clean and fully equipped with heaters and guidebooks. I suggest you to try to get a room on the upper floor, the room in the ground floor is more busy.
Maria and Jabrane (the owners) came to the riad every morning - and they have all sort of advise/recommendation what to do during our stay, everything can be taken care of by them - just relax... We took a tour to the Atlas and it was an unforgettable trip. We started at Chez Momo II and had a lovely guided tour in the villages.

I strongly recommend Riad Saba, just check in, trust Maria and Jabrane and you will have a unforgettable stay in Marrakech.

Room Tip: rooms on the upper floor most probably more silent.

The owners and staff of Riad Saba made our stay a memorable one. From the hassle free transport from the airport to the excellent recommendations for sightseeing and dinner, everything was done to ensure that our stay was a great experience.
We loved the eclectic decor, the comfortable and leisurely breakfast and the roof terrace with its sun loungers and straw hats. The attention to detail was superb.
Walking around the Medina from the Riad was easy, it's well placed between the main square and palaces. When we went further afield, taxis brought us to our door and we avoided the haggling by leaving the bookings to our hosts!
Riad Saba is perfect for the traveller who wants to experience the 'real' Marrakesh in comfort and style.

Room Tip: The rooms are all equally lovely, I had a peek.

When you book this place (and I recommend that you do) ensure that you have very clear instructions about how to find it. We arrived at the station clutching an address and a map of Marrakesh city. These proved to be totally useless and we were only saved by a friendly and determined taxi driver who eventually found the way to a somewhat unpromising door down an alley. Once inside, all misgivings were put to rest. This is a beautiful place and a great introduction to staying in a Riad. The room felt suitably exotic although the actual facilities in there were well up to the standard expected by pampered westerners. A leisurely breakfast on the roof (under a shade) and the owners keen to give you as much information about the city outside as you might need complete a fine introduction to Marrakesh

It was our first time in Morocco and the first time staying in a Riad. It is an experience i would recommend highly. Upon arriving in the prearranged shuttle, we were served cakes and mint tea while we did the paperwork. Jabrane greeted us and made us feel welcome, as as did Maria whom we met later. The Riad was beautiful with a top floor terrace to enjoy the November sun. Great location! The staff are a reflection of their commitment to offering a superior service and experience, to a person they were friendly and efficient.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Ocean suite and it was just fine
