“Our stay was perfect in every way, I have never woken up feeling so happy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2009

We were on a short break to introduce the delights of Marrakech and surrounding countryside to some friends. And we had the best time imaginable. From the first impression of walking through part of the old city, along tiny streets, mayhem, smiling faces and then in through the door of Riad Hayati. To the peaceful courtyard with fountain, birds, beautiful trees and Abdel and Mina who staff the house. Our favourite resting place was the roof terrace with its sunbeds, views and curtained pergola where we sat , had a glass and watched the lightning, the sunset and storks. This is the only place to stay in Marrakech. But don´t tell anyone.

We recently stayed in the Riad Hayati as a party of 8 women for a friend's Birthday celebration.Several of our group had never been to Morroco before and were somewhat apprehensive about what to expect. They need not have been, as from the moment we arrived we were thoroughly pampered by the staff and totally made to feel at home in this beautiful Riad. The rooms, decor, and food were all excellent and were comparable , if not better than most 5* hotels. The only slight drawback was that the en suite facilities in some of the bedrooms were very "open plan" to the rest of the room, which could possibly be a problem depending who you were sharing with. There is however a seperate toilet downstairs. This in no way detracted from an otherwise excellent holiday. I would without hesitation recommend this Riad to anyone.

We stayed here in mid-March with four of our friends who had never been to Marrakech before. In a word, Riad Hayati is superb. A really special place and we are heros to our friends for choosing it.

It was like renting a fully staffed private house for a week. Wonderful home-cooking, flawless service and a relaxed, welcoming ambiance. A perfect base for our trips to Essaouira and the Atlas mountains. It was always comforting to come "home"to Hayati at night. Fires were already lit, drinks were served and we dined by candlelight. We then slept beautifully in super comfortable bedrooms.

We had a dream of a holiday and reccomend it very highly indeed.

We had a brilliant week here earlier this month. it was truly the most blissful break we've had anywhere.

You can tell that a lot of love has gone into restoring this 18th century mansion. It extremely tasteful with deliciously comfortable salons and bedrooms. Lot of nooks and crannies for those quiet (romantic) moments. and the house is filled with wonderful little surprises at every turn. You could spend an entire day just lounging around and not get bored.

Mina's cooking was a special treat. Easily some of the best food we had in the city.
And Abdel has our thanks for his warm, impeccable service.

This place is a real find.

We invited six of our friends and rented the entire riad in early March to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. It was a superb weekend thanks to Ron and his staff whose attention to detail and flawless service are first class.

The riad is an amazing hideaway. It's like a stage set, very stylish without being phoney or snobby. It's a place to feel totally comfortable, welcome and spoiled. It exceeded all our expectations an we couldn't be more grateful for the time we spent there.

We've reccomended it to all our friends.

This has got to be one of the most delightful places you will find anywhere. Total serendipity. From the outside you see only high walls. Nothing quite prepares you for that first "wow" as you enter through a corridor into a little Garden of Eden. Utterly magical with the perfume of Arabian incense, trickling fountain, and a garden of palms and citrus trees. It's a little like walking in a dream.

We felt so peaceful and were so cared for that it was difficult to think about leaving.

Many thanks to all for our wonderful anniversary celebration. Absolutely perfect in every way.

We had a great week at this super cosy little hideaway. It's very smart and stylish, but it's the warm, charming ambiance and service that we really appreciated so much.

It's beautiful. All the rooms are around a colonnaded courtyard --something out of Arabian Nights. Our room had a wonderful fireplace and seductive hammam style bath. The decor is white with antique rugs, carved wooden doors and original artwork throughout.

We spent some delightful hours on the stunning roof terrace. Breakfast in a "Turkish Kiosk" and a quick dip in the little plunge pool. Orange and lemon trees and songbirds make it a bit of paradise.

Ron, the owner, is charming and obviously knows what counts in hospitality. He and his staff made us feel at home and welcome the moment we walked through t he door. .

Very highly reccomended.
