“Enchanting Little Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

This is truly an oasis of tranquility in a city that suffers a tourist invasion. The location is perfect, close to everything but very quiet and private. You really feel at peace within these beautiful walls. The service is exceptionally and consistently faultless. We got the warmest welcome from Ron and his staff, Mina and Abdel. Mina's delicious cooking is something to remember. Everything is market-fresh, served by candlelight and cosy fireplace with soft Morrocan music making it all dreamy. Try her Poulet aux citrons tajine and that killer fudge choclate cake.for desert.

One other thing I should mention if the absolute comfort of the place. The bedrooms are designed for sound sleep and the salons are simply devine, one is a cosy little Ottoman treasure the other a vertable scene stealer large enough for a banquet and dancing.

I can't say enough about this enchanting place except that we were thrilled to find it and have already planned to return.

Room Tip: We had the four poster bedroom which has a very sexy bath with a huge tub and fireplace. Our friends...

“Excellent in every way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

Elegant surroundings, great location & exceptional service make this Riad perfect for a short stay in Marrakech. We loved everything about it & our private day trips to the Atlas Mountains (go on a Monday if you can - wonderful Berber market en route) & Essouira (lovely lunch at Chalet de la Plage)were excellent. Ron has all the answers to your queries, Abdel cannot do enough to ensure you feel truly at home & Mina's cooking was delightful. Thankyou for a memorable few days.

“Elegant,Charming And Very Private”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

We had a superb festive treat at this wonderful little bit of heaven. Really something to remember in London's bleak mid-winter. The riad is beautifully designed to be what I would call elegantly comfortable. But there is a genuine sweetness about the place. So quiet and peaceful. All you hear are trickling fountains and an adorable canary singing its heart out.

The staff are lont-time family retainers who really know what they are doing and do it with effortless charm that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Mina, the cook, spoiled us with her delicious French and Moroccan home-cooking, always fresh and beautifully served at any time of the day or night. She didn't miss a beat when we told her two of our party were veggies.

Precious sleep in the romantic bedrooms that had seductive baths, Egyptian cotton sheets and real Turkish towels with rosemary scented soaps and shampoos from the Berber villages.

Riad Hayati is a sophisticated jewel which provided us with an indulgent escape from everyday life and cares. A real little beauty!

Room Tip: We were five friends and we each had our own bedroom. They all had their own charm and character and...

“Full Marks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

We found Riad Hayati in a Vogue review and decided to give it a try. We are so happy we did. After a couple conversations with Ron, the owner, all our questions were were answered clearly and accurately and our booking was confirmed.

Hayati is a real little beauty that will melt your heart with awesome service, great food and superb comfort. The week we were there a cold snap swept down from Europe. But we were cosy and snug in the riad. The rooms were heated and had charming fireplaces. Abdel had a crackling fire for us in the dining room and in our bedrooms before we retired.

This place is really very special and made our trip to Marrakech a dream.

Room Tip: We had a large bedroom on the gallery. Our friends had the room next to us. Both had fireplaces and...

“Simple Luxury And Class”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

We are a crew of six filming in the Atlas mountains. We've been staying at this wonderful riad for years whenever we are on location for a shoot. Hayati has really become home to us over the years. It's a serene oasis run by a generous host and super efficient utterly charming staff. Even if we're up at dawn to start filming a full breakfast is waiting and if we are working until very late a delicious dinner is waiting with a warm smile. In cold weather we can dine by the fire and really relax. Bedrooms are exceptionally comfortable with lots of hot water and luxurious soaps and bath amenities. A bit of luxury at the end of a long day is much appreciated.

This place is simply perfect. It really is a wonderful home away from home.

Room Tip: Our crew has taken all the rooms in the riad. Each has a special character but they are all stylish...
