“The best place to stay...EVER!!! Don't miss this...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2010

My friend and me stayed 4 nights in lovely Riad Dar Najat when we were on our trip through the whole of Morocco. So we ended up in Marrakech in this wonderful place - a recommandation of friends...
Best one ever! I've never seen such a beautiful, stylish and amazing Riad before. Feels like home from the first moment. Friendly staff, delicious food and an amazing view from the rooftop by night. If Marrakech should ever be to hot for you, you can have a short breath-take in the jacuzzi. All wishes have been fulfilled before you can think about them!
So don't miss this!
Many greetings & kisses to the Dar Najat Team.

The hotel made this holiday so memorable. I would give it 5 stars without a doubt, and if I get the chance to go back I would certainly go.
Firstly, the staff and the service: They were very friendly, happy, professional, but relaxed and entertaining. We could eat at what ever time suited us, and every morning woke up to a fantastic breakfast, a perfect start to the day! On arrival the staff gave us guidance of the must-see places of the city, as well as where to get good food and were not to eat. This was very helpful for making the most of our stay. I could not say a bad word about the staff and the service, they truly made the holiday what it was. I would certainly go back just to see them and the resident tortoise Harry Potter!
We experienced 3 rooms on our stay all were magnificent in there design, the furniture was beautiful like nothing iv seen before, as well as being very comfortable, and having fantastic air con.
Our favourite part of the hotel was the roof terrace, it was peaceful and had amazing views of the atlas mountains. Another fantastic spot was the jacuzzi. I could have happily spent days lounging about the hotel with the outstanding service and the beautiful layout.

We travelled to this location as an end of university celebration and could not have asked for a better time. We were given an extremely warm welcome at the Hotel and to say we were treated as family would probably be an understatement.

The attitude of the staff is spot on for a holiday atmosphere, they are prompt and thorough at their work but at the same time have relaxed and fun personalities which means their routines (the thing most of us are trying to escape from!) are not visible to the guests.

The Hotel is beautifully decorated, the facilities are spot on and the Food delicious, the Breakfast was a great start to everyday!

The location is also ideal for the big square tourist attraction!

Oliver and his staff treated us like family and if we had any queries, they were more than happy to help out! The rooms were beautifully designed and each of them had air conditioning. Dar Najat was a few minutes walk from the main square, which was easy to find especially after the guided tour of the area with a member of staff.
We ate delicious food at dinner and lunch on the beautiful rooftop, where the atlas mountains can be seen!
After a long day it was especially nice to relax in the jacuzzi on the roof top and I can't wait until I get to come back!
Thank you for a wonderful time!

Sorry to say we cannot agree with some of these rave reviews. This place is mediocreb at best . We actually were very disappointed in the service and accomodations.

We know that things can go wrong and we are willing to go along with mishaps when an effort if made to correct them, b ut in this case the indifference of the management and staff was almost intolerable.

To be specific: On our arrival we were told that the room was not ready and we would have to wait a couple of hours before unpacking and having a rest. We had been up since 3am for the early flight from Gatwick so it it safe to say we were fairly tired - exhausted actually. We were given a bottle of water an and some nuts with a suggestion that we "look around the neighborhood" while waiting. We didn't realize what a bad suggestion this was until we stepped outside and within 15 minutes were totally lost. It cost us five pounds in "cadeaux" to get someone to guyide us back to the riad.

When we were shown to our room it was alsomost like a sauna. We were told the air conditioning was broken and someone would be around in the morning to sort it. When we asked for another room we were told none were prepared and the chambermaid has left for the evening.

After a sweaty and sleepless night we were told that the air conditioning would require a major overhaul and a specialist was called. Lond story short. He never arrived,

We had had enough so we checked out some other riads on the internet and left Najat that night. Thus ended our nightmare stay at Riad Najat.

Hi there!
Sometimes guest suggestions and reviews even bad help to increase services&place and i would say that the chritic can be very helpfull.
I'm very sorry to say there's two possibility for this one:wrong place or wrong informations..we ddin't have any guest who have been staying one night in may and who have been in an other place.
We've been more than full and again, may happen somtimes that a custemer for a personal reason or an other(respectable)doesn't like the house but didn't happen so far in may.
And only to answerd about the ac..if you see all the posts, you'll discover that in three years nobody ever complained about this precise point as very well looked after and working perfectly.
I'm again very sorry to say we didn't see this custemers, may be again a review for the wrong place.
Sincerely,Oliver.

The 'Riad ' was beautiful , a wonderful oasis where to take a break from the chaos of Marrakech. The staff were wonderful , made you feel really welcome and at home. They also provided us with a lot of very useful advice about what to see, where to eat and even where to go to take the best shots of the town. One night , one of the guys from the Riad sat with us and drinking tea and having a bit of fun, including a very interesting chat, about the meaning of leaving in Marocco and how to be a good Muslim. The free tea, and refreshments was a really nice touch. Our room was stunning, we couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was lovely , one of the best we've ever had at a hotel. All in all, a perfect stay and definitely one of the best and most unique hotels we've stayed at , and one we would recommend 100% to prospective travellers. The location also helped , as the 'Riad' was relatively easy to locate in the maze of roads and buildings in Marrakech.

Dar Najat was a great place to stay and experience Marrakech. The location is great in the old city but difficult to find. Take the option to be picked up from the airport. You will not regret it. You will if you don't. Oliver and the rest of the staff were amazing. Our room was a little small and the bed a bit hard but everything else more than made up for it. The best part was how they made us comfortable and confident about the city.
