“Winter sun in Marrakech”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2014

This was our second time visiting Les Trois Palmiers and our visit this time was as wonderful as it was when we first came, back in 2011. The riad itself is beautiful and provides a calming environment in which to relax and really get in to holiday 'mode'. We loved lazing on the terrace in the afternoons with some mint tea, alternating between cushions in the sun and shady corners.

The location of the riad is perfect for exploring the Medina, being about a 15 minute walk from the main square Djema el Fna which is the hub of the action. It's equally easy to go the other way and grab a taxi if you want to go further afield or you could simply walk to the Nouvelle Ville as we did to visit some of the attractions there like the Majorelle Gardens.

The staff at the riad could not do any more to make your stay as relaxing and memorable as possible. That was our main recollection from 2011 and one of the reasons for going back again; they did not disappoint this time around. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always advice and suggestions if and when we wanted them.

This time we also took advantage of some of the excursions on offer going in to the Atlas mountains one day and doing a cookery class in the riad one morning. Both were fantastic experiences, again made all the better by the friendliness of the staff as well as their flexibility to adjust plans to suit our preferences.

Patrick, Caroline and all of their staff make any holiday here a wonderful experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Les Trois Palmiers to anyone who asked.

Hello JC, you promised first time on our guest house book to come back, you did it.

Thank you for this and also thank you for your review.

We were so happy to see you again with your wife and please don't forget to send us some pictures about the meals you prepared for your friends after cooking class you had here with our chef Dalila.

Best regards. All staff.

The service in the Riat was very good. Everybody speaks English and they are very willing to help you. Everytime we came home they offered as a cup of mint tea.

The riat is very close to the center of Marrakech, everything can be done by foot.

This was a fantatastic experience. The staff were extremely friendly, the food was excellent and it had a very unique feel. Patrick the owner was very helpful and we were right in the heart of Marrakech - a 10 minute walk to the main Place. Highly recommended and will hoepfully return in the future.

I cannot say enough about this hotel and their staff. They were absolutely wonderful. From picking us up at the train station, giving us directions to navigate the souks and organizing a day trip, everyone was so nice and overly accommodating. The riad itself is gorgeous and is equivalent to a five star hotel. The pictures do not do it justice. We stayed in a rooftop room and it had a nice view of the city and plenty of lounge spaces to relax. The room and bathroom were very beautiful and clean. We also had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were fantastic. I have always wanted to go to Morocco and had visions of indoor pools, beautiful tiles and traditional Moroccan details. This hotel has all of this with modern amenities and is just steps from the souks. We researched a lot of riads while planning for this trip and many were considerably more expensive. I honestly think this hotel is a terrific value and really does feel like a luxury hotel. If I am ever back in Morocco, I will definitely be staying here.

Room Tip: We really enjoyed our rooftop room. We opened the windows at night for a nice breeze.

Patrick has developed a beautiful haven within the craziness of Marrakech. The rooms are well designed and spacious and there is a lot of room in the riad to relax, including a huge roof terrace.

Easy to find after a couple of attempts, it is easy to walk into the main square plus, you can find taxis easily by Dar El Bacha palace.

Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful riad and Patrick and his staff are wonderful hosts, thank you Patrick, we hope to be back soon!

From the original pick up from the airport by Ali their driver to the return to the airport after 3 days, we couldn't fault the hospitality, of this Riad. After a walk through the small alleys of Marrakech we arrived at the door of the Riad which opened to reveal a fantastic 12 room full of character right in the middle of the medina. Well decorated, clean and very welcoming. Patrick the owner welcomed us and introduced us to the staff. All of them were brilliant and gave us all the assistance we needed from providing maps to help us find our way out to organising a Guide to take us round Marrakech. Breakfast and lunch on the terrace was lovely, and they even explained how to cook a tangine and their breakfast pancakes. A return is a must. Thank you
Sue and Eddie.

Room Tip: Middle and upper rooms are less noisy.

An absolute hidden gem- tucked away to the north of the souks- this riad is beautifully decorated-and equipped to a 5 star standard.
We only ate lunch whilst here but it was very good.
Clean, beautiful, affordable and very helpful staff- highly recommend!
