“Very relaxing stay at a an exceptionally beautiful Riad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2010

Cannot speak highly enough of this beautiful Riad. Immaculately furnished and decorated in an exotic, but not in an over the top or pretentious way. Really close attention to comfort and detail. Atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxing.
The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and cannot do enough for you.
Had one meal at the Riad which was relatively expensive but worth every penny and can be thoroughly recommended.
Fantastic location - just a few minutes walk to La Place. Do try and eat at one of the stalls on La Place at least once - it's an essential holiday experience!
Will certainly return here again.

My title sums up everything, this Riad was so beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and comfortable and even though it was centrally located (less than 5minutes walk from the Medina), it was so quiet and peaceful and really relaxing inside. It had a lovely little area with pillows and a sofa where we liked to sit when organising our plans for the day.
We travelled in a group of 5 girls for my best friends birthday and they even made a scrummy cake to celebrate which was very thoughtful.
Couldn't have asked for anymore! I think it would be great for families, couples and friends, an all rounder!

We put a lot of time into choosing the perfect riad for our stay in Marrakech we weren't disappointed. Riad Boussa was everything we could have hoped for and more. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to look after us - forget about home away from home it was better than that!!

Great location too (easy walking distance to the souks, main square, restaurants) and they put on a really good breakfast in the mornings that will keep you going until lunch.

If it's your first time to Marrakesh (and even if it's not) then you definitely need to be sure you book a riad that you feel comfortable relaxing in as you can guarantee at some stage you'll want some downtime away from the hectic city outside. We had a couple of afternoons like that and coming back to the raid was like stepping into an oasis (picture cosy chair, good book, chilled out music, mint tea - ahhh).

Brigette and Bruno are also really good at recommending restaurants, sight-seeing, attractions, day trips etc.

Also, I would recommend having at least one dinner at the raid - our favourite dinners were the ones we had there.

You cannot imagine what it will be like because it is like a fairytale and more. Marrakech is stunning and the Riad Boussa has it all. The Riad is gorgeous.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull and do all they can to make you feel at home. Dinners at the Riad are highly recommended. The hammam and massage by Rizlane are very relaxing (your skin feels like new afterwards). Even if it is easy to find your way around in the Medina thanks to the advice and tips of Brigitte and Bruno you are more than ready to go out and explore. We also took a trip to the the three valleys (Brigitte recommended the agency of Miriam Berger and she was so right) the landscape is beyond imagination.
After a crazy day in Marrakech it is like returning to your home far away. Un tres grand merci pour tous, Bruno, Jamilla, Zineb et Brigitte.

If you want to stay somewhere small, traditional, central and expect personal and friendly service then this is the place for you. I absolutely loved it and I can't recommend it more highly!!

I picked Riad Boussa because I knew I wanted to stay in a Riad in the medina and this one had excellent reviews, was in a good location and looked beautiful - decorated exactly how I had imagined Moroccan accommodation to be. It looks exactly like it does on the website.

In the lead up to my stay I spoke with Brigitte many times, she was most helpful in planning my trip; arranging tours and transfers, suggesting things to do and places to go. Sadly Brigitte wasn't able to be there during our stay, but she'd left everything very well organised for us, the guy in charge in her absence (Bruno) was very funny and helpful (even though he doesn't speak much English and we don't speak much French!). Brigitte had gone to the trouble of preparing written English instructions and tips to help us get by and get around, which was much appreciated!

The riad only has 4 bedrooms and we were using 3 of them. Each uniquely decorated, the colour schemes and furniture were beautiful. This is the kind of riad you don't want to leave! We loved spending time in our rooms but also in the patio and in the lounge beside the log fire when it started getting chilly at night. We had a delicious breakfast on the terrace, which is a lovely place to relax on a hot sunny day!

It's only a 10 minute walk to Djemaa el Fna so is in a great location (it's not very far it just takes a little while because of all the crowds on the main street!). It's very quiet and peaceful. They have a lovely cat too!

The service here is personal and the best I've ever experienced. We had dinner in one evening and it was the best meal I had in Marrakesh, they arranged a belly dancer for us too. Breakfast was whenever we wanted it and the traditional Moroccan dishes on offer were delicious. On my birthday they surprised me with a home made birthday cake; best cake I've had in a long time!

Riad Boussa is beautiful, authentic and a perfect way to spend some time in Marrakech. It's well positioned, only a 10 minute walk from the central square, yet far away enough to be located in a quiet side street so you can get a good nights sleep. The rooms are finished to a high standard, what you would normally expect from a decent hotel, but doesn't compromise with traditional Morroccan features mixed in. Breakfast is taken every morning on the roof and was probably the highlight of every day. Nothing is too difficult for Brigitte or Bruno, whether you want to book a trip or just grab a cold drink. We stayed in another Riad upon our return to Marrakech and it didn't come anywhere close to the standard of Riad Boussa. I would recommend to anyone, and I wouldn't think twice about going back there. 10 out of 10.
