Friendly english speaking owners and staff made us and our two young sons feel very welcome.

The riad was finished to a high quality and was only 5 mins from the square.

Roof top terrace provided an excellent chillout zone after a surreal day in the square and souks.

The riad was the highlight of our stay in Marrakech and we would recommend this accomodation to all.

I spent 4 days at the lovely ryad "Le clos des arts" at Marrakech(Morrocco). Located near Pace Jamaa el Fna, this typical moroccan ancient house has an art gllery and a swimming pool on the roof. Madam and Mister Clos were incredibly nice with me. They speak english, french, italian etc... What I really appreciatein that ryad is its size which is very convivial

Excellent small riad! We spent four nights here: the location, only about 5 minutes walk from the main square, Jemaa al Fna, is perfect and it is a small oasis of peace after a hectic day sightseeing and wandering around the souk. The French couple who own it, Jean-Pierre and Edith, are extremely friendly and relaxed, nothing was ever a problem and they really let you do what you want. The riad is filled with art and is beautifully and tastefully decorated.The pool on the roof is also a blessing after a heavy day touring. We had one of the smaller rooms - fine, but next time would definitely take a larger room. We also ate at the riad one night, food was great and perfectly prepared.

We stayed at this Riad for four nights in October after reading good things about it on this website. It was exactly what we wanted within the Medina - the rooms are beautifully furnished and the building very well situated for all the main sights in Marrakech. We chose this Riad mainly because of the pool on the roof, not huge, but perfect for cooling down in after a long day on our feet. Jean-Pierre and Edith were wonderful hosts and even invited us to look around their quirky and individual home - the converted Hammam of the Palace de Bahia. We were travelling with our 8 month old daughter and this riad works well with small children as long as they are fairly well behaved (noise echoes around the central courtyard!) We didn't eat here in the evenings, as the Jemaa el Fna is only a few minutes walk away it's too tempting to go out every night.
