Riad Limouna is, undeniably, a great place to stay at in Marrakech. It is located in the old part of the city, so that you get a an authentic feel of the city and it is merely a few minutes away from the souks and Jemma Al Fna (the big square in the centre). I definitely recommend staying at a traditional riad, such as Riad Limouna, rather than at a generic hotel. The riad was beautifully decorated in the traditional Moroccan style- carpets, patterned tiles, stunning artwork. Our room was comfortable and clean. Yet the thing that makes Riad Limouna really stand out from the crowd is Antoine! He arranged our transfer from the airport, presented us with copious amounts of mint tea and even walked us to Jemma Al Fna. However, our holiday would not have been the same if he had not recommended us some amazing places to dine at or visit (and helped us hail taxis...). I cannot recommend a stay at Riad Limouna more.

Myself and two friends had a lovely little trip to Marrakech, and a large part of the experience was this riad. Both the riad, and its owner Antoine, were instantly welcoming. After wandering around the busy square and the souks, it was a wonderfully comforting and refreshing place to retreat to (along with innumerable cups of mint tea -which is delicious). Our room was well-equipped, and nicely decorated. We had a lovely breakfast every morning, and each day something new was brought to us (my favourite was these crumpet-like pancakes). Marrakech was a wonderfully vibrant city, and I thought a great place to go with friends, or in a couple. I would recommend this riad to anybody, and if I return to Marrakech, I will definitely stay there. Antoine was by far the best host I've ever had on a holiday - he supplied us with great restaurant recommendations, and even made the reservation for us! He also has great advice about places to see, from cafes to bars to sites. Overall, a really fun trip and excellent riad!

Room Tip: The rooms aren't particularly soundproof so we were woken up a few times, and our bathroom was s...

I stayed at the Riad Limouna with friends in March 2012 and have absolutely no complaints about the holiday! The riad's owner, Antoine, is incredibly helpful - from booking taxis to providing us with as much mint tea as we could drink to recommending restaurants and sights in the area, the holiday wouldn't have been the same without him! The individual room was comfortable, beautifully furnished and scrupulously clean; the communal areas were tastefully decorated, with a mix of modern and more traditional artworks, a small pool and a central fountain. The location is excellent - a 5-10 minute walk away from the central square of the old town, Jemaa Al Fna, the souks, and a range of lovely restaurants for every budget and taste. I would definitely recommend this riad to anyone, from families to friends to couples to solo travellers, and can honestly say that my stay in Marrakech was one of the best holidays I've ever had.

I can't imagine that you'll ever find a more welcoming and warm host than Antoine! Fortunately he's spirit is evrywhere in the beautifull Riad Limouna. A Riad where time stands still to the sound of water in a small fountain and where you can pull back from the hectic city arround you, and just relax and enjoy good company.
My husband and I had the best new years eve here ever - and we will definately be back!
Kind regards

Riad Limouna is a very well situated Riad in Marrakech. It is owned by Antoine who makes the difference. He has eye for every detail. Not only how tasteful the Riad is decorated but also the taste of the music he plays (from Sinatra through Chopin to Stan Getz) and the food he cooks. The Riad is not to big (5 rooms) and it is only a 7 minute walk from the Jemaa el Fna square.
We stayed for 4 days and it was "coming home" every day.

A very pleasant Riad in the middle of Marrakech. Close to the square and Souks and easy to find your way back to after a few too many Casablancas. Antoine is extremely helpful and the rooms were pleasant and comfortable. The housegirl prepares a lovely breakfast and top notch scoff can be had through the secret door in the restaurant at the end of the alley or you can mix it with the locals in the Square at night for something more unusual. Hammam Ziani is close, though a little seedy, and there are plenty of other restaurants in the area. Watch out for the scooters, don't let a stranger lead you on a wild goose chase to find a specific restaurant, and when haggling the usual amount to pay is rarely more than a quarter of their first price.

Room Tip: I liked chocolate
