My daughters and I had a wonderful afternoon at the Cafe Clock cooking school. We were met at the cafe with drinks and sat down with the chef and the manager who acted as interpreter (sorry, I have now forgotten the names) where we decided to cook an eggplant dish, followed by chicken Bastille then macaroons. We all went to the market to buy the provisions then the cooking class began. We had such a fun time in their air conditioned kitchen on top of the cafe and at the end we all went down to the cafe and had drinks and chatted to all the staff.
Even though it was Ramadan and very hot, they were an interesting, multicultural and contemporary group, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about morocco from them. Would definitely recommend their cooking or language classes.
