“Go for camel burgers and date milkshakes!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

The camel burgers and date milkshakes were brilliant!

This cafe is a great place at the end of Rue de la Kasbah. The menu has lots to chose from (think trendy Morrocan fare) and the setting is lovely. The camel burgers would rival any trendy London burger place and the Morrocan relish was so good! We liked it so much we went twice.

I thought the food was really reasonable compared to other comparable restaurants in Marrakech and the staff were friendly. I would thoroughly recommend this place for somewhere a bit different.

“Great concept, but food overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

Despite the 3/5 rating I do actually like the concept at Cafe Clock - the staff are very welcoming and it has an arty vibe which has been missing in the Medina.

However this is primarily a restaurant review and for food I can only rate it as average. The menu is quite limited (you can check it on their website) and although it is all nice enough, similar food can be found elsewhere at cheaper prices. For example, a cheese & veg sandwich with salad and fries at 75dh is too much.

Still I would give it a much better rating for entertainment - we went for a sunset concert with live traditional music, a lively atmosphere with a mix of locals and tourists. I like how they are trying to promote traditional Moroccan culture like storytelling as well.

Perhaps we ordered the wrong dishes and I might give it another try - but even if you dont eat here, I would still recommend a visit to have a drink and experience one of their cultural events.

“Great fresh smoothies and relaxed atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

Nice friendly staff, some health foods but also burger and chips if desired. Oner of us needed gluten free so they don't have much yet for that but otherwise good for brunches and lunch.
