“We loved it too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

We loved everything about our stay at Casa Taos - it was a wonderful place to spend a few days relaxing and exploring. Nothing is too much for Hicham and his staff, their welcome and their warmth second to none. The food was some of the best we have ever had on holiday - home grown, organic, made with expertise, inspiration and love. We had no desire to eat anywhere else when a different and delicious 5 course feast was served at Casa Taos every evening. We loved our room, the colours, the quirky art, the attention to detail evident everywhere. The orange blossom was in full flower during our stay, and we delighted in sitting in the orchard soaking up the gorgeous scents and listening to the sounds of the birds and the bees - not everybody's idea of bliss, but we loved it. Casa Taos may not be the height of luxury, but it has real class - a unique and special place to stay.”

Wonderful food. Perfect pool. Beautiful rooms. Amazing staff.
It was heaven and I will go back.

Honestly, it was a delight. My wife and I spent 4 days there, lying in hammocks, catching sun, eating amazing food and drinking lovely cocktails. And if you want to hit the medina then its a short cab ride away, that they are happy to organise for you. GO.

My wife and I wanted excellent food, wine, room, service and Spring sun in a tranqil setting with easy access to Marraketch.
Fortunately that sums up what a week at Casa Taos provides - in spades. But it doesn't quite describe the care which the owner and his staff took in making sure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The place hums with a calm efficiency. Not corporate efficiency. Its personal. As has been noted by others, Mohamed and Hind are at hand at any time to help, always with a smile. Leading and pulling the strings is Hicham who makes it all look easy, which it isnt.Steve and Debbie.

Our family of 5 (Grandma, Mum, Dad and 2 kids) had 2 rooms at Casa Taos. The rooms were beautiful, full of lovely artwork and antiques, and very peaceful. The staff at Casa Taos were a delight and extremely helpful with anything that you would require. Breakfast was delicious, a large selection of pastries, fruit, yoghurts and omelette, with fresh juice from the surrounding orchard. We ate at Casa Taos twice and it was without doubt a wonderful dining experience. We all loved staying at this guest house, and would highly recommend staying here. The owner, Hicham, a native of Morocco, was full of helpful recommendations be it shopping for art, fine dining or a great terrace for a coffee.
Be in no doubt that part of Casa Taos's charm is its remote location but its an easy taxi ride from the guest house to the bustle of the city.

We've been there for one week with two small kids.
The place is great, the staff is really friendly and the food is amazing (organic products from the garden).

The location is a bit remote (15-20 min from the center) but you'll be at peace with only the sound of nature left.

This is the perfect place to relax.

The staff at Casa Taos are faultless. Mohammed and Hind in the restaurant are charming, with a competent light touch and always very helpful. The chef, Tulia I think, produced the best food we had in Morocco which made us happy when we did move in to the Medina, to feel vindicated in eating all our meals at Casa Taos whilst staying there. A great place for families with children as there are gardens to roam in. The pool is still cold in mid March, but will warm up as the weather does. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable.
While the food was excellent a more expansive wine list would be nice, although I think the wine offerings all around Morocco were for the most part limited to Moroccan wine, which is expensive considering the quality.
All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

We wanted somewhere peaceful and comfortable with good food away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, but close enough that we could still explore the city when we wanted to. Casa Taos ticked all the boxes. Hashim, Karima and their staff made us feel so welcome and looked after us beautifully throughout our stay, making recommendations, booking us taxis and being generally very friendly and hospitable. Our room was huge and incredibly comfortable with a wonderful fire place and TV with DVD player (there's a good dvd collection available alongside games and lots of English books left behind by guests). The food - huge breakfasts by the pool and three to four course dinners in the communal dining area - was the best we had throughout our time in Morocco and incredibly reasonably priced. The family atmosphere is very unpretentious, but there are lots of little touches - a heater in the bathroom, a kettle and tea bags in the room, pillows on the sun beds - that show how much thought has been given to the guest experience. The setting is also beautiful and we would highly recommend Casa Taos to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Room Tip: The Botero Suite was lovely and quiet.
