“Excellent Riad in the heart of the medina”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We loved our stay in this Riad! We had arranged the shuttle service from the airport, and we were happy we did so, as this Riad is really tucked away in small alleys; it would have been hard to find if we didn't have a guide! The shuttle service was fast and friendly. The Riad itself is just lovely: it has a very Moroccan feeling and is very comfortable, clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the views from the terrace were spectacular. Once you get out of the Riad onto the main street, you are immediately in the heart of the medina. Considering the low price, we could not have asked for more. Highly recommended!

The nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. Beautiful rooms, the building is very impressive inside, the Breakfest is made personally for you when your are ready to eat. The staff are very helpful, funny and kind. Great little haven in a culture immersive city, great location and views from roof. I recommend going for a long weekend! Enjoy

Stayed for three nights end of November 2014 and was pleased with location, quality and cleanliness. A decent Moroccan breakfast and helpful staff. About 10 minutes walk from the square. We have stayed in luxury riads previously but such a huge difference in cost is difficult to justify when compared to Aubrac. I would stay here again and recommend booking here and spending the difference in the Medina!

We stayed in Riad Aubrac for one night as we wanted to experience staying in the Medina. This riad was a great choice as it was only 5-10 min to the main square and very easy to navigate to and from. Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled nice and clean. The breakfast was good, served either in the central yard or on the roof terrace although when we were there it was raining so we could not have it on the roof. The staff was friendly and spoke very good english. They recommended a nice place to eat close to the riad - chez brahim. The only thing that was a bit of a negative was that we could hear in our room at night when the others staying in the riad were flashing the toilets but that was only a few times in the night and not too much trouble. I would definitely return to this place but not so sure about Marrakesh overall.

Riad Aubrac members was very helpful. Specially receptionist Man (saide)was so cheerful and was keen to help and also very friendly. Receptionist lady was helpful too. Room was good and very clean. Breakfast was always on time according to our request time. I email them before departure from uk and they arranged airport Collecction 15 euro Total for 2 person. And we also used their airport transfer to Morocco airport and it was hassale Free and brilliant. One problem we had was shower problem but receptionist gentleman saide fix it very quickly. In Total we scored them 100/100. And will strongly recommend anyone to use their lunch or dinner menu atleast one or twice. Food was very delicious. We had some conflict with tour company driver. But they reduce the cost 10 euro after we requested them. It was a good tour but driver of that tour called yousuf made his own decission to show us things that we were not after. But his behaviour was good apart from argument. As it is sometimes unpolite when someone said why. And therefore we decided to use different driver from Riad to Marrakech airport and hotel lady arranged that very quickly. Their middle age cooking woman also said us hi hello and very well behaved. But on tour ,Riad aubrac has not enough hand as we been told it is 3rd party. Location of Riad aubrac is good but at night time alleyway is so dark. So may be good idea to come back Riad within 11 pm latest for full safety ! It was great experience overall . We highly recommended to you Riad aubrac. Good luck to Riad aubrac members and its staff. Inshallah we may visit them once again sometimes in future. Best regards-Yeasin

This beautiful, small Maroccan Riad is located in old Media, only few minutes walk from El Fna squere. Really intime atmosphere, great and helpfull staff and trurly, tasty, Maroccan food :)
We had a big pleasure staying there and we really recommend it to everyone who is going to visit Marrakech. Few tips? 1. Do you have a map? Great! It's useless ;) It's better to order a cab at the Riad as they will show you te way which is (simply speaking) quite complicated. 2.Take rooms on frirst floor - they the best. 3.Eat in Riad - we have checked few restaurants and food in Riad was really exceptional! 4. Breakfast at the roof terrace in the rising sun... well... :)

Room Tip: Rooms ate the first floor are the best. Ground floor - rooms are in front of the place where people...

The riad is calm, cosy and nice, both rooms, the patio and the roof terrace. We enjoyed rich, tasty and varied breakfast, and it was very nice to eat it on the roof terrace with its beautiful view. Also the dinner we ate once at the riad was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Probably one of the best hotel experiences I have had.
