My stay at Dar Zouar was really lovely. Thierry was a wonderful host and communication with him before and also during my stay was extremely good. He is a very helpful and gracious host. I must also comment on his staff particularly Sahmid (spelling?). He was always on hand for any queries and in general was a pleasant smiling face (as were the others). Since I am only an english speaker (monoglot :-( ) with the exception of very poor spanish I found it was a relief that Thierry and Sahmid both spoke some english. Sahmid also speaks Spanish and Italian !
The room was very nice, warm, clean and pretty. The whole place has a lovely feel and the attention to detail is a very appealing aspect. The only downside is if people are in the open area downstairs the sound comes up to the room if they are at all boisterous. But of course this is expected with the style of building. It would not deter me from booking again :-)
I would definitely, next time fit in a trip to Essouaria as suggested by Thierry.
Merci beacoup Thierry
