We arrived in Marrakech late at night, meandered through the lively streets, dodged a few mopeds and then arrived at the Riad. The door opened to an oasis of calm (and style!). The hosts Eric and Didier were as stylish as the place and did everything to ensure we had a great time. We were travelling with our two sons (8 and 9) and I was not quite sure how it would work - yet they loved it; meeting the tortoise, dipping in the plunge pool, stargazing on the roof and playing chess in the cool of the courtyard. We stayed one night in the family suite on our way to Essaouira and then returned another night at the end of our holiday to stay in the teapot room. Both rooms were beautifully decorated and perfect for a family. We ate dinner there and can really recommend this as the food was probably some of the best of our trip.
