“A wonderful place to stay close to the centre of Marrakech”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I stayed at the Maison Arabo Andalouse with my mum and some friends earlier this month and would highly recommend it. It is just a 5-10 minute walk to the main square Jemma El Fna but once inside it is so peaceful and quiet you could be miles away. Paulo and his staff gave us a very friendly welcome and looked after us so well - a personal service to his guests which as first time visitors to Marrakech was much appreciated. the rooms are traditionally furnished and decorated with comfortable beds and have everything you need including extra pillows, hairdyers, toiletries and even some adapter plugs. We had a room with a private terrace which was lovely to sit on in the evenings. There is a large roof terrace as well which is were we had breakfast and dinner one evening - a beautiful setting for some wonderful food provided by Fatima. Paulo, Mohamed and Yunais (sorry if I have spelt it wrong!) were wonderful in helping us find our way around and recommending what to do - and looking after us at the end of the night! Marrakech is full of hustle and bustle - watch out crossing the road - you are looking out for cars, scooters, horses and donkeys! but is a wonderful place to visit - bartering in the souks is great fun, drinks at the Hotel Mamounia is well worth it and the open top bus gives you a good overview of the city. Would recommend Marrakech and would highly recommend staying at the Maison Arabo Andalouse.

An excellent, very relaxing and exceptionally friendly stay at Maison Arabo Andalouse. This Riad is very central to the Medina although really peaceful on an evening and very quiet for sleeping in. Breakfast is included in the price and is a very pleasant choice of fruits, breads, pancakes and juices, that you can leisurely enjoy on the roof terrace. If you want to experience Marrakech and its culture this is the place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean and some have there own private terraces. This Riad is really reasonably priced and the staff were exceptional. They all made us feel very welcome and were so hospitable. In a very different and unfamiliar city the staff did a superb job of chaperoning, advising and serving us a quality service......including a fabulous, traditional pigeon pastilla. Marrakech is an amazing, unique city that is a must for an adventurous city break traveller!!!!!

I chose this Riad on the internet and made the booking direct with Paulo. He was most helpful and replied to all my queries very promptly. We were two ladies together and had not visited Marrakech before but wanted to experience the 'real' thing rather than stay in an international hotel. We were so pleased that we did. Our transfers went smoothly and by request a beautiful lunch awaited us on arrival on the beautiful terrace of the Riad. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfasts and the dinner we ordered for one evening there were delicious. But mostly it was the hospitality offered to us by Paulo and his staff that impressed us most. Nothing was too much trouble - from changing currency, delivering ice and glasses for our drinks and even waiting outside our venues to accompany us back to the Riad at night. Also Paulo was a fountain of information! I would highly recommend this Riad to anyone.

Room Tip: we enjoyed our room with the terrace.

It was not difficult with these Ladies give them everything was to our competes Curios to know the past and present history of a Palace like ours. especially, the daily preparation of the foods that were served promptly and well appreciated both in their private terrace, or in the large terrace shared with other guests.
Of course, in a small structure, which we are, take care of our guests, as we can take care for our Relatives ......... and makes us so much pleasure, divide their leisure time.
Come back,please..............

Our overall experience in Morocco was that the Marrakech medina was overrated compared to Fez, Rabat or Essaouira. It is somewhat of a tourist trap and the motor scooters, which are not allowed in the other medinas, are a positive plague. If we were to go to Marrakech again, we would stay outside the medina in the very attractive newer areas of the city.

But you can't blame Maison Arabo Andalouse for what Marrakech is. If you are going to stay in the medina, it is a very good choice, close to several of the main attractions. Paolo and his right-hand man Mohammed are very helpful as well as being memorable characters. Our room was very good, albeit with a little trouble with the heating unit. We enjoyed our stay there and would not hesitate to stay there again, IF we were going to stay in the medina.

I understand that some guests will resent by moto- bike even in the Medina, comparing others city, the authorities are intervening.
Then, arrived in our Alley***** feel less annoyed even for our support, we try to help all ours guests to leave stress out our Riad, relaxing area start on our Patio-Garden,to continue..............
Can happen an inconvenience, like that of the AC in a Suite, too sensitive to inadequate manipulation, but we are always present.
Thanks, for the sincerity and the availability .....when you will be back, the country side we will organise only like a excursion our Riad will be your place to stay.

Had a wonderful stay here for a long weekend. The staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. They went well out of their way to give us recommendations and even shepherding us back from the mazy streets of Marrakech late at night. The breakfast provided was also amazing lots of fruit, pancakes, eggs etc. would definitely recommend staying here!

Most of the guests appreciate the location of our Riad, at 6-minute walk of the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. Marrakesh is very safe even at night, but our staff controls the access of our pedestrian alley , for guests who had lost orientation, this gesture is very much appreciated, as if ours guests were family member or friends, all these particular attentions added to a choice of products, strictly local, make the difference.
Thanks to appreciate everything, Dear Friend

Our stay was wonderful! Everyone at the Riad were friendly and helpful. The Riad itself is gorgeous, and our accommodations were great. The room had its own patio with beatiful lighting and furniture. Breakfast, which was included, was equally fantastic. Every morning there was freshly squeezed orange juice, creeps, fruits, bread, and baked goods. I couldn't recommend this place any higher!

Pretty soon we will be obligate to transform a Regular-large Suite in another small, romantic, stars view with private patio Junior-Suite.
All couples, as for this very kind young couple, they appreciate the private terrace with multi flours and sun-bed and sofa under the mansion.
Breakfast was appreciate at the plunge pool corner or at large commune terrace or on the inside saloon.
Was a pleasure to discuss with you,we waiting for you again.

The Riad is wonderful. During our travel in Morroco we stayed in other very nice Riads, but the Maison Arabo-Andalouse was simply the best. Mohamed was very helpful and made our stay fantastic. If we will come back to Marrakesch, we will stay again in the Maison Arabo-Andalouse
