The hotel RIAD MAISO Arabo Andalouse in Marrakech was a pleasant surprise. We were hosted in the period 9-12 this month. The cozy atmosphere and the details of the Andalusian decor impressed us. The austere facade offered us a wealth of architectural details inside. Everythingauthentically Moroccan.
Inside the bustling heartof Marrakech the hotel is in a quiet locationwith an atmosphere of fantasy.
The location is good, within the Medina, enabling us to go to walk to museums, the Koutobia, the souks and the famous Jemaa El Fna.
The owner Paolo was very courteous, always availablefor guidance tourist sites. We received, according to tradition, with mint tea.
All the staff are very helpful and provided us with all the necessary support.
The breakfast is rich and elegant.We had the opportunity to have lunch specialties of the house.
The interior is very well maintained and clean.
We wouldrecommend the Maison Arabo Andalouse who want to enjoy an authentic Moroccan atmosphere and quality.

When we arrived in the morning after almost no sleep after a long travel, Muhammed waited for us when we got dropped off by the taxy near the Riad. He welcomed us and showed us into the most peacefull little courtyard with banana palm trees, fountain and singing birds. We were served mint tea and homemade moroccan pastries made by Fatima, one of the sweet women working there. All the way through our stay we were so good taken care of by all of them. Delicious food in the morning, recommendations and day programme discussing with Paolo.

The room itself was quiet, spacious, beautiful and clean. The Riad is in a very quiet and hassle free area of the medina, and close to the big square, shopping and some big monuments. They also have a nice roof terrasse, where you can look at the ruins of Palais Badi and say hello to all of the storks there. We have travelled a lot of places, but never experienced such hospitality as here.

They can also arrange day tours, book events for you etc. We went on a trip in the Atlas Mountains and stopped by mosque Tinmal, which we can highly recommend.

where can i start? even before our arrival, gpaolo and mohamed were making sure out trip was nothing short of amazing, we were picked up at the airport, then as soon as we got to the riad, mohamed was there to greet us... my husband , our 7 yr old son and i.. we felt not only welcomed, but cared for... fatima, sarah are just wonderful... and mohamed went way beyond duty in order to help us with all our requests, from getting mc donalds for our son, to arranging our day trip to ourzazate and other destinations .. (highly recommend it) ... we got to enjoy sarah's expert cuisine. breakfast was served in the quaint indoor garden, and it was rich in quantity and flavors. my husband and mohamed shared each other's cultures which enriched our stay beyond our expectations. the riad's location is perfect, within walking distance to all things, i do suggest a guide , as the medina is an intimidating maze... now, the riad itself, is just gorgeous! the rooms well sized, and an example of moroccan decor.... have no doubts to book here, your only regret will be to leave this oasis ,a jewel found in the midst of the bustling city of marrakech... we will be back!! A beautiful Riad with an outstanding roof patio where you can watch the storks come home from dinner. Ask for Tajin: "made for Prince", and Mohammed will make it happen. Tell him Sandokan sent you.

Our family trip to Marrakech would just not have been the same without the beautiful staff of the Riad. Paolo, whom we never met but through email, was also a gracious host. Hands down recommend this place.
