“Perfectly located”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

During our stay in Morocco we stayed in a variety of Riads from both traditional to modern. This small Riad had so much to offer from a Jacuzzi on the roof top to beautifully appointed modern rooms. We were extremely pleased with the accommodation, although after the first evening we were told that they were overbooked and first had us change rooms in the Riad and for the third night we stayed in another lovely Riad around the corner. Besides this mishap, we strongly recommend this place for both tranquility and great location.

Room Tip: The room we stayed in on the second day was on the ground floor rather than the second floor and wa...

My friend and I spent 2 nights in this Riad because the one we had booked (Riad Hamdane, 50 m down the road) was overbooked. We wished we could have stayed longer. This was paradise because everything worked. We had a nice clean room and the staff was outstanding. In fact it was Mr. Hammou who made our stay a memorable one. He was ever so helpful. Even when we did not live there any more we went to him if we needed help, advise or a booking; be it for the hammam or golf. He made everything possible and..............always with a very warm and welcoming smile. I would certainly recommend this Riad.

Room Tip: We had room 13 facing away from the road. It was extreemly quiet. But even out the front it should n...

Very good value for money. The riad has about a dozen small but very clean and comfortable rooms with good bathrooms. There's a lovely roof terrace where you can have a drink (including alcohol) and a comfotable lounge on the ground floor. Wifi throught the hotel.

The hotel is located in a little warren of streets about 5 minutes off the big square. Taxis can't go here so if you are dropped at the square have directions ready in your head so you can find it without having to ask. If you do ask anyone expect to be taken there on a circuitous route and to be asked for a tip when you arrive. 20DHM is fine though everyone will ask for more. The hotel can arrange transfers to/from the airport (20 euros) which is worth it both ways as the driver will walk with you to the door and pick you up.

There is a little hammam on the top floor and a massage room. The massage (by Chanan - check she is working - I hr = 30 euros) is superb. One of the best massages I have ever had. Have a 30 minute scrub down in the hammam first.

Service is courteous and attentive. Basically if you want it the hotel will do what it can to sort it for you.

Only downside: a number of rooms smell of cigarette smoke. It would be good if they prevented people smoking inside.

This riad has a great location, very close to the main square and within walking distance of most of the main historic sites. The style of the riad is quite modern, so if you are looking for quaint and traditional, this is probably not the place for you. The rooms which look like they would be right at home in a new Manahttan hotel are very clean, air conditioned and quiet - I actually slept better here than at any of the other places we stayed in Morocco. The big negative about this riad was the food. We had dinner there one night and it was inedible - the breakfasts were also of poor quality and the bees buzzing around the terrace were really annoying. In fairness to the very nice people who work there, when I told them about the dinner, they adjusted the bill. This riad is pretty inexpensive - we paid $70 US a night, and at that price is a good deal.

Location of this place is fantastic, 3 mins from square. Initially we were a bit nervous, as we ran after the little old man as he pushed our luggage in his cart through through a few little alley ways after dark, but we felt quite safe once we knew our way.
Staff are friendly, rooms are comfortable, and roof terrace is a pretty place to eat or relax. There is a hot tub available and a curtain you can pull accross if you prefer privacy.
We paid £14 for a transfer from the airport and would reccomend this as like most riads you would struggle to find it you didn't know the exact location.
I would stay here again and reccomend to others.

Amazing room service, very good room quality, everything you can expect from a high quality Riad. The location of the Riad is very good, c. 2m from main square and the neighbourhood is very quiet. The staff is incredibly friendly, providing all the information needed regarding restaurants, daily trips, and spots to visit in Marrakech.

The room was beautiful! The staff very sweet and helpful. The terrace in roof served a wonderful dinner that you could pre-book. Breakfast was a delicious assortment in Moroccan pastries... The hamman was very well done. They really work hard to please you!
